About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter who’s excited to help build an AI-first startup from the ground up. You’ll be our go-to person for identifying and hiring exceptional talent across engineering, AI/ML, and product — helping us shape the culture, team, and foundation of everything we’re building.

You should be comfortable recruiting in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and genuinely enjoy engaging with technical talent. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building things, not just filling roles.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle - from partnering with founders on headcount planning to closing top-tier technical hires.

  • Build and manage pipelines across AI/ML, software engineering, data, and product roles - and more as new needs arise.

  • Craft thoughtful outreach and candidate experiences that reflect our values and mission.

  • Build creative sourcing strategies through community engagement, referrals, and targeted research.

  • Track and optimize recruiting performance with lightweight, data-driven tools.

  • Partner with leadership on org design, compensation, and talent market insights.

  • Help shape the employer brand and be a key ambassador for our team in the AI and startup ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of technical recruiting experience, ideally at early-stage startups or in high-growth environments.

  • Deep curiosity and knowledge of modern tech stacks and AI technologies.

  • Comfortable operating with limited structure - you can create processes where needed but stay flexible.

  • Excellent communicator and relationship-builder; you know how to connect with engineers and founders alike.

  • Hands-on experience with modern recruiting tools (Ashby, Linkedin, AI Sourcing Tools, etc.)

Nice to Have

  • Experience building recruiting processes or teams from scratch.

  • Exposure to AI research, developer tools, or open-source talent communities.

  • A strong personal network within the AI / engineering space.
