Technical Recruiter

Help hire the people building the infrastructure for space.

At Quindar, we’re making it possible to operate satellites like servers. Our mission management platform helps commercial and government customers automate satellite operations, manage complex missions, and keep critical systems running. As space becomes an increasingly important part of our infrastructure, we’re building the software—and the team—to support it.

We’re looking for a Technical Recruiter who understands technical talent, knows the aerospace industry, and loves the pursuit of a great hire. You’ll help bring software engineers, mission operations experts, and other hard-to-find specialists to Quindar, connecting them with work that has a direct impact on the future of space.

If you’ve built a strong track record in agency recruiting and want to help grow a company whose mission you can get behind, we’d like to meet you.

The Role

You’ll own recruiting from sourcing through offer acceptance, partnering closely with hiring managers and People Operations. You’ll build talent pipelines, assess candidates, keep the process moving, and help candidates understand why their next chapter should be at Quindar.

This role calls for someone who brings urgency, resourcefulness, and strong relationship skills. You should be comfortable reaching passive candidates, learning the details of unfamiliar technical roles, and turning a first conversation into a successful hire.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead recruiting for technical roles across software engineering, aerospace, infrastructure, and related disciplines.

  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, distinguish essential skills from preferences, and build effective search strategies.

  • Source and engage passive candidates through targeted outreach, referrals, industry networks, and creative research.

  • Run initial screens that assess relevant experience, communication, motivations, and alignment with a startup environment.

  • Tell Quindar’s story in a compelling, credible way, connecting each candidate’s interests to our technology and mission.

  • Manage candidates through the interview process with clear communication, timely follow-up, and well-defined next steps.

  • Partner on offers, navigate compensation conversations, and help close candidates.

  • Keep Ashby accurate and organized, using recruiting data to identify bottlenecks and improve results.

  • Share market insights on talent availability, compensation expectations, and competing opportunities.

  • Help strengthen our recruiting processes as the company grows.

What You Bring
  • A track record of successfully recruiting technical talent, ideally in an agency environment with individual placement or revenue goals.

  • Experience recruiting within aerospace, space technology, defense, or closely related technical industries.

  • Enough technical fluency to understand different engineering disciplines, ask useful screening questions, and communicate confidently with candidates and hiring managers.

  • Strong sourcing skills and experience building pipelines for specialized or difficult-to-fill roles.

  • Experience managing multiple searches while maintaining consistent candidate communication and follow-through.

  • Confidence handling objections, discussing compensation, and closing competitive candidates.

  • A proactive approach: you take ownership, adapt quickly, and follow through without needing a detailed playbook.

  • Curiosity about space and enthusiasm for helping build the team behind critical mission infrastructure.

Experience recruiting cleared professionals or working in a growing technology startup is a plus.

Why Quindar

Your hires will help shape how satellites are operated and how missions succeed. You’ll work directly with the people building the technology, see the impact of your recruiting, and help grow a team tackling meaningful challenges in space.

We offer competitive base compensation plus a commission plan that rewards successful hiring, alongside company benefits and the opportunity to build your career as Quindar grows.

Build a team. Help build the infrastructure for space.
