Responsibilities include managing personnel clearance lifecycles, classified onboarding, visitor control, classified meetings, DCSA audits, security policies, physical security, classified material handling, SCI nominations, DD-254 reviews, and secure facility implementation. The role partners with the FSO, government stakeholders, program teams, and vendors to establish compliant, scalable security processes.

The role requires expertise in embedded systems, satellite communications protocols, encryption, cloud services, and software integration. It involves cross-functional customer collaboration and is hybrid in Arvada, Colorado.

Lead cross-functional delivery of commercial space and aerospace programs from proposal through deployment. Manage scope, schedules, risks, dependencies, milestones, customer relationships, documentation, and performance tracking. Coordinate engineering, product, sales, and business development teams while translating technical requirements into executable plans. Support proposals and business growth, and operate across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.

Develop scalable, secure backend satellite mission-operations software using Python and AWS. Build APIs, integrate cloud services, troubleshoot issues, optimize performance and costs, and automate processes. Contribute to generative AI integrations, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and software architecture. Collaborate with frontend engineers and product managers in an Agile Scrum environment while maintaining high standards for reliability, quality, and security.

Build internal software and AI-powered systems that connect Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Programs, and Operations. Responsibilities include integrating SaaS tools, APIs, databases, LLMs, and AI agents; automating workflows; creating systems that translate product specifications into engineering work; maintaining synchronized documentation; supporting controlled government proposal workflows; and improving how employees and agents collaborate.

Lead and scale Quindar’s corporate IT function across Tier 1/2 support, onboarding and offboarding, endpoint management, identity and access, enterprise software, office technology, and remote support. Establish SLAs, improve processes, manage vendors and projects, resolve incidents through root-cause analysis, and partner with Cybersecurity on CUI hardening and compliance. Build on-site IT capabilities in Washington, DC while remaining hands-on and developing the team.

Drive the CEO’s highest-priority initiatives, prepare executive and board communications, manage leadership cadence and follow-through, and lead ambiguous strategic projects. The role coordinates across Growth, Product, Engineering, Programs, and Operations, supports national-security-related engagements, and helps with metrics, planning, partnerships, fundraising, hiring, and critical customer situations.

Lead Quindar’s finance function through growth, owning FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audits, controls, government contract finance, capital planning, and fundraising support. Build scalable finance processes and infrastructure, oversee outsourced accounting and audit partners, manage board and investor reporting, guide departmental budgets, and hire and develop the finance team. Own the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle of Quindar’s Mission Planning capabilities across Plan and Portal products. Translate mission objectives into executable spacecraft and ground operations plans, improve scheduling and constraint-aware automation, and design workflows for diverse mission stakeholders. Conduct user research, define requirements and success metrics, collaborate with engineering and design, and lead prioritization, launch, and iteration for complex technical products.

Coordinate day-to-day engineering execution for U.S. DoD, IC, and civil mission programs. Track tasking, dependencies, owners, blockers, risks, milestones, and deliverables; facilitate planning sessions and team cadences; drive issue resolution; and communicate concise status updates across engineering, product, and program stakeholders.

Define and deliver integrated satellite ground system architectures from opportunity through verified mission deployment. Lead solution architecture, requirements, V&V, proposal support, and cross-functional technical alignment with sales, product, engineering, and customers. Advise product roadmap based on mission needs and ensure mission delivery and acceptance.

As a Forward Deployed Product Engineer, you'll ensure software reliability for satellite missions, troubleshoot issues, engage with customers, and prototype new products.

Serve as technical integrator and program engineering leader for satellite ground systems. Ensure architectural cohesion, cross-team alignment, mission execution, and reliability across mission software, platform infrastructure, security, and operations. Contribute to design, integration, proposals, reviews, anomaly resolution, mentoring, and hands-on implementation for complex commercial and government space programs.

Own functional, integration, exploratory, and regression testing for mission-critical satellite operations software. Develop test plans and cases, validate web applications, APIs, and backend workflows, investigate defects using logs and observability tools, and collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout development. Use automation and AI-assisted tools to improve coverage and efficiency while applying sound QA judgment.

Develop and integrate software command-and-control solutions for satellite vehicles. Integrate satellites and flight software into a mission management platform, decompose customer mission requirements, troubleshoot hardware-software interfaces, and support scalable product solutions. The role requires expertise in embedded software, satellite protocols, command and telemetry standards, encryption, cloud services, and version control, along with strong customer communication and independent problem-solving skills.

Develop backend satellite operations software using Python and AWS, build and troubleshoot APIs, integrate containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes), use IaC (Terraform), collaborate in Agile teams, and contribute to generative AI integrations, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and architecture to support scalable, secure mission operations.

Develop backend Command & Control (C2) systems connecting Quindar's platform to satellites. Implement machine-to-machine communication, binary protocols, serialization, transport, stateful comms, telemetry, and hardware integrations. Onboard diverse spacecraft, translate interfaces into maintainable integrations, build scalable abstractions and tooling, and improve reliability, observability, and performance while collaborating cross-functionally.

The Vice President of Programs & Operations will lead mission execution, ensuring reliable deployments for commercial and government customers, managing cross-functional teams, and establishing operational processes for satellite missions.

Develop and maintain cloud-native backend and frontend systems for satellite operations using Python and AWS. Build APIs, containerized and serverless architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and integrate with React/TypeScript frontends while supporting mission-specific U.S. government programs and improving system reliability, performance, and observability.
