At Centerfield, we’re building smarter, faster, and more scalable platforms - and we want you to lead the way. As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for the management and coordination of technical activities on assigned programs.
How You'll Contribute...
Responsible for the management and coordination of technical activities on assigned programs.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate assigned personnel and engineering work.
Monitor work for compliance to applicable standards and accepted engineering practices.
Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned programs between all disciplines and all other project participants.
Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants and that customer/company requirements are being met.
Expected to have sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing in the various disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Responsible for project engineering schedules and forecasts.
Coordinate and prioritize project resources.
Coordinate and check engineering deliverables.
Draft monthly project status reports and change orders.
Maintain extensive regular contact with the engineering team, Centerfield executives, and other partners both internal and external to the company.
Responsible for planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
Manage multidisciplinary product development teams including Software Development and Datawarehouse/BI.
Utilize project management tools and personnel to drive project performance using best practices and techniques.
Accountable for the successful completion of assigned projects.
Leverage exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals including technical definition, schedule estimation, and resource planning.
Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve client/engineering and management project issues.
Help build out project management organization by contributing to efficient process creation.
What We're Looking For...
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Project Management, Engineering Management, Business, or a related field.
Two (2) years of experience in the position offered, as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Business Development Lead, or related occupation.
Skills with the following required:
Project management directly related to building and managing software (technical project, change, stakeholder management);
Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, Safe) and PM (project management) toolsets such as Jira;
Operating Systems (Windows and Mac) and Web Technologies (Javascript, CSS, HTML, React);
Six Sigma principles;
Process improvement, developing business proposals, gathering requirements for software solutions;
Confluence and Excel;
SDLC (Software development Lifecycle);
Operational and performance data analysis and dashboard creation; and
Establishing and monitoring KPIs (key performance indicators) for project milestones, team productivity, and performance monitoring.
Skills may be gained through academic coursework and concurrently while pursuing academic studies.

Compensation for this role is in the range of $115,327 - $115,327.
