Overview

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager for the successful delivery of symmetrical speeds to 20+ million Internet customers. Will require coordination across multiple teams and several stakeholders. Technical knowledge, strategic planning and leadership skills are required to oversee and execute this program. The ideal candidate will have understanding in advancing program requirements, devising detailed tech-oriented plans, tracking the programs' progress, and managing the stakeholders involved. The ability to analyze large data sets daily while working with, at any given time, multiple, cross-functional teams and skill sets to find issues and implement solutions. This is a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days in the Denver, CO office. All qualified candidates MUST reside in the Denver Metro area and be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Please note that we do not work C2C.

Responsibilities & Duties

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within defined scope and timeline
    • Develop and manage program schedules, identifying risks, and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders
    • Monitor and report on program status regularly to ensure project deliverables are on time
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure a positive Customer Experience
    • Ability to review large excel data files and analyze results and then work with required groups through resolution
    • Communicate regularly with senior management regarding the status of specific projects and blockers/ issues
    • Manage "Walk-On" stakeholder relationships and requirements through bi-weekly management meetings
    • Identify and quickly escalate potential issues or risks that could affect the successful delivery of the project

Requirements

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience, specifically in the telecom/broadband or cable space.
  • Strong understanding of networking technologies and software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in project management and reporting tools (such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar)
  • Experience with documentation and reporting tools, including Tableau, SharePoint, or similar.
  • Strong Excel skills required: vlookups, large data set filters, adding fields for analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and effectively prioritize tasks

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field is required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.

Compensation

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Sand Cherry Associates is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensational decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. This is a long-term consulting engagement with an hourly rate of $75-$85. Years of experience, level of education, geographic location, unique skills/qualifications for the specific role and potential certifications can be key factors in the final compensation for this role.
