Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Advertising Technology team. In this position, you will play an essential role in driving the successful execution of our technical and IT projects. You will be the driving force behind planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The impact of your role will extend far beyond the realms of project management, as you will have the opportunity to shape the future of our organization by delivering innovative solutions and optimizing our project management processes.

Our ideal candidate is a certified PMP professional with expertise in driving fast-paced projects with evolving priorities and has excellent communication skills. Experience in Cable or Ad Tech industries is preferred. If you are looking for a role that allows you to lead cutting-edge projects and you enjoy collaborating with leaders and technical talent, this position could be a great fit for you!

This is a full-time remote position, with up to 10% travel required to the Long Island, NY location. The annual base salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, depending on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Candidates are also eligible for our full benefits package, which can be found here.

Responsibilities:

  • All project-level activities necessary for the delivery of Ad Tech software platforms.
  • Lead and develop comprehensive project plans, set clear milestones, and manage resources efficiently to meet project objectives and deadlines.
  • Own maintenance, enforcement, and communication of key Project Management deliverables, including project plan/timeline, scope, requirements, communication plan, maintaining RAID log, enforcing RACI matrix, and coordinating Go Live plan.
  • Manage workstreams across projects, identifying and reporting on gaps and risks.
  • Integrate and collaborate with PMO on cross-project dependencies.
  • Coordinate meetings and collaborative deliverables between the client and third-party vendors, reporting on any risks, gaps, or misalignments.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project-level risks and issues, holding project level resources accountable, and report on a status for issues requiring executive attention.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with leadership, stakeholders, and cross functional teams ensuring their involvement and buy-in throughout the project.
  • Comprehend project requirements from both a business and a technical standpoint and serve as the liaison between business users and the project team.
  • Assist with ticket and bug management, regularly meeting with the team, updating JIRA, and calling out issues to the Program Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or other related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of proven Project Management experience in a technical or IT-related environment.
  • Current PMP Certification is preferred.
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
  • Skilled at identifying gaps and mitigations, as well as holding stakeholders accountable.
  • Proficient in tools and methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and JIRA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of technical concepts and the ability to work closely with technical teams.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A results-oriented mindset and have strong organizational skills.
