As a Principal Product Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in defining product strategy, identifying customer and business opportunities, and translating insights into innovative experiences. You will partner closely with engineering, design, data science, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact products that drive measurable customer and business outcomes. From vision and roadmap development through execution and iteration, you will own end-to-end product success.

Responsibilities
- Define and drive product strategy, roadmap, and long-term investment opportunities that deliver meaningful customer and business impact across AI-powered commerce experiences.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Applied Science, Data Science, Design, and Product Marketing teams to translate customer needs and business objectives into innovative product experiences and technical solutions.
- Lead end-to-end product development, from concept and requirements through launch and iteration, ensuring high-quality execution and measurable outcomes.
- Influence and align stakeholders across organizations, building consensus and driving decisions that accelerate product innovation at scale.
- Use customer insights, usability research, data, and performance metrics to identify opportunities, validate hypotheses, and continuously improve the product experience.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, balancing strategic thinking with execution excellence to deliver impactful products used by customers worldwide.
- Foster strong relationships with customers and partners, leveraging feedback and market insights to shape product direction and drive long-term success.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience operating and supporting large-scale online services with significant customer and business impact.
- Experience with online advertising platforms, marketplaces, auction systems, search technologies, recommendation systems, commerce platforms, or other large-scale digital ecosystems.
- Experience leading incident response, root-cause investigations, post-incident reviews, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Experience building or improving observability, monitoring, anomaly detection, telemetry, or operational health frameworks.
- Experience working with machine learning, AI-powered systems, predictive analytics, or intelligent automation technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence engineering, product, and business leaders without direct authority.
- Track record of driving measurable improvements in reliability, operational excellence, customer experience, or business outcomes.
- 8+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional technical initiatives spanning multiple organizations.
- Experience analyzing large-scale datasets and using data to drive technical and business decisions.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, analytics platforms, telemetry systems, or business intelligence tools.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across organizational boundaries.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive audiences.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, rapidly evolving environments.

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
