Job Summary
The Technical Product Analyst engages directly with key business domains to assess the utilization of technology products and develop functional product roadmaps to support business operations. This role creates business requirements, technical solution definitions, and business case artifacts to support funding and implementation. The Technical Product Analyst provides direction for key technology products and application architecture design, coordinating with Plan & Build partners to ensure procurement, design, build, and deployment. This role works directly with business disciplines to support the adoption and modification of products within business functions.
The Technical Product Analyst partners closely with Contact Channel leadership, operations, and engineering teams to own and evolve enterprise voice products that power customer engagement at scale. This role focuses on platforms such as CCaaS (e.g., NICE CXone), IVR / conversational self-service, and telephony and carrier services, translating complex business needs into scalable, reliable, and compliant voice solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather functional requirements, design specifications, and operations requirements for systems in support of enterprise technology infrastructure and standards
- Work toward ideation, evaluation, and selection of technology products
- Support backlog prioritization and business case development
- Develop creative solutions that align with business goals and work with engineering teams to define functional requirements during development
- Perform requirement gathering, product roadmap creation, and maintenance of products over their lifecycle
- Support product evaluation, selection, acquisition, and vendor relationship management
- Conduct financial planning to achieve product roadmap milestones and verify running expenses and invoices are in-line with proposed budget estimates
- Write user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria
- Support documentation, release readiness, and operational handoff
- Coordinate with Plan & Build partners to ensure procurement, design, build, and deployment
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0-3 years of experience in product, technology, or business roles
- Understanding of technology and necessary business acumen to act as the voice of the business
- Prior experience identifying complex business problems and analyzing alternative solutions
- Ability to integrate and balance priorities, work activities, and resources for the benefit of multiple key stakeholders
- Enterprise orientation to problem solving
- Basic understanding of product management tools, including MS Office
- Experience in estimating and managing budgets
- Basic Agile methodology knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CCaaS systems (NiCE CXone or similar)
- Experience with Telephony and Carrier Services (AT&T, BT, AVOXI or similar)
- Experience writing user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management
- Experience with Visio, project planning tools, and sketching software
- Understanding of QA, testing protocols, and methods
- Experience in hospitality, customer engagement, or related industries
- Bilingual (Spanish, French preferred)
