About Andela:
Andela Talent Cloud is the industry’s only unified solution to manage the complete global talent lifecycle. We help enterprises source, qualify, hire, manage, and pay global technical talent in one integrated platform.
Market leaders partner with Andela to help rewrite their workforce strategies to include global, remote talent from over 175 countries to scale their teams and deliver projects faster.
Andela Talent Cloud provides an intelligent, AI-driven platform that helps enterprises build remote-fluent teams from emerging geographies such as Africa and Latin America. Powerful AI-matching algorithms learn from thousands of data points in the hiring journey to pinpoint the best engineers up to 70% faster at 30 to 50% less cost than other hiring approaches. Andela caters to specialized disciplines such as Application Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud, and Data & Analytics, with over 30 specific use cases. The world’s best brands trust Andela, including GitHub, Mastercard Foundry, ViacomCBS, and Mindshare.
We are launching Andela Academy: Training-as-a-Service (TaaS) — a new revenue line designed to make enterprise reskilling as scalable and impactful as hiring. We are seeking a phenomenal leader for our Learning Ops & Delivery function.
You will manage a team of Learning Managers (2-4 FTE), oversee instructors and mentors drawn from the Andela network, and deliver client-tailored learning programs in AI, Cloud, Data, and other areas of demand. You will own program execution end-to-end, from curriculum scoping through delivery, certification, and post-program deployment — ensuring measurable client and learner outcomes.
This role is highly cross-functional: you’ll partner with Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Talent Ops to design scalable programs that are revenue-generating, certification-driven, and tightly integrated with our Talent Cloud.
Exceptional Leadership:
As a manager, you’ll serve as a role model for the rest of the company. Think about the feedback your peers typically give you – if it usually sounds like the below, we want to hear from you.
Low ego, low drama, servant leader: You share credit, take blame. You like being wrong because it means someone else had an even better idea.
One team mentality: You break silos across teams. You put the company and mission first above your team alone.
Great listener, hungry for feedback: You’re always seeking to improve – our product, our business, yourself. You solicit diverse opinions and deeply listen.
Owner, not renter: You see a problem, you fix it or find someone who will. The buck stops with you.
Player-coach: You fly high (create strategy) AND low (know the details that matter). You roll up your sleeves and get scrappy. You do this without micromanaging, empowering your team while actively engaging in important details.
Business problem solver. You’re not just a functional expert; you consistently get praise for approaching your function through the lens of solving business problems.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage, coach, and grow a team of Learning Managers responsible for delivering enterprise reskilling cohorts.
Program Delivery: Oversee design and execution of enterprise learning programs (50–500+ learners per cohort) with a focus on certifications (AI/ML, Cloud, Kubernetes, Cybersecurity, Soft Skills).
Client Engagement: Collaborate with Sales and Client Partners to scope and launch reskilling programs aligned to enterprise client needs. Represent Andela in client-facing discussions on program design, progress, and outcomes.
Operational Excellence: Ensure consistent delivery quality, learner engagement, and support structures (mentors, office hours, community rituals, capstone projects).
Data & Outcomes: Track and report program metrics — certification coverage, NPS, churn mitigation, redeployment rates. Translate insights into continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Partnerships: Work with Partnerships to integrate third-party certifications (AWS, GitHub, CNCF, NVIDIA). Collaborate with Talent Ops to update Talent Cloud profiles with certifications and readiness scores.
Scale & Innovation: Drive adoption of the “Train the Trainer” model to expand delivery capacity. Leverage technology (LMS, Codewars, AI copilots) to scale programs.
Ensure Codewars is embedded into Andela Academy, Talent Cloud, and enterprise offerings as a core learning and assessment platform.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in learning & development, technical training, or program delivery roles, with at least 3 years managing teams.
Strong executive presence and exceptional executive stakeholder abilities.
Proven record of designing and delivering enterprise learning programs in technical domains (AI, Cloud, Software Engineering, Data).
Strong understanding of developer platforms and assessments; experience with large-scale platforms (e.g., Codewars, HackerRank, CodeSignal, Coursera, Pluralsight) a strong plus.
Strong people leadership skills: track record of building, coaching, and retaining high-performing delivery teams.
Demonstrated success in cross-functional leadership, especially with Product, Operations, and Sales teams.
Client-facing experience with enterprise stakeholders; ability to communicate at both executive and practitioner levels.
Data-driven and outcomes-focused, with ability to measure and improve learning outcomes, client satisfaction, and redeployment metrics.
Familiarity with technical certification ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, GitHub Copilot, etc.) a strong plus.
Passion for talent development, developer experience, and Andela’s mission of connecting brilliance with opportunity.
