This is a full-time, onsite role based at our headquarters in Denver, CO.

As the Technical Lead Manager for Power Electronics & EMI/EMC, you will apply your skills to technical and functional leadership of a team of individuals working to develop and mature the state of power electronics at Xcimer. We are looking for our Technical Lead Manager for Power Electronics & EMI/EMC to apply their technical expertise, problem solving skills, and dedication to quality to positively impact the future of energy!

Responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership over the Power Electronics & EMI/EMC sub-department within Pulsed Power Engineering
  • Functional management over individuals within the Power Electronics & EMI/EMC sub-department within Pulsed Power Engineering
  • Development of a technology roadmap for power electronics at Xcimer. Including high-voltage power supplies, DC-DC converters, and EMI/EMC compliant PCB design.
  • Development of standards, specifications, requirements and best-practices for power electronics and EMI/EMC for Xcimer.

Qualifications:

  • Education: M.S.E.E. or greater
  • Experience: >10 years
  • Project management, functional management, experience with EMI/EMC specifications/standards/design, expert knowledge of power supply design, PCB layout and EMI/EMC compliant design.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee of granted asylum

Desired:

  • LTSPice or similar circuit modeling software
  • Experience with electromagnetic modelling via Ansys, COMSOL, CST, or equivalent software
  • Knowledge of electromagnetic fields, as well as their associated interactions and diagnostics
  • Python or MatLAB programming skills
  • Experience with project management software such as Jira, Microsoft Projects, etc…
  • Experience interpreting and implementing EMI/EMC commercial or military standards (e.g. IEC 61000-4, MIL-STD-461 etc…)
