This role requires managing the execution of a time and attendance product, collaborating with stakeholders, and defining features to enhance user engagement and compliance.
Position Purpose
This role will own the execution of the time and attendance product. This individual will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, design, compliance, and client success and external clients to ensure we build high-impact, scalable solutions tailored to the complex needs of healthcare and service-oriented employers. You’ll also play a key role in expanding our workforce management offerings, ensuring that our T&A system seamlessly integrates with payroll functionality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Own the execution of the Time and Attendance product roadmap
- Lead discovery efforts with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities
- Define and help prioritize features that drive user engagement, compliance, and automation
- Develop detailed requirements, epics, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Partner with engineering and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of T&A features
- Assist in go-to-market efforts, including internal training, client communications, and marketing support
- Collaborate with design to create intuitive, accessible user experiences across web and mobile
- Stay abreast of federal, state, and industry-specific labor regulations that impact T&A workflows
- Act as a subject matter expert for T&A capabilities and integrations across the organization
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure intuitive and accessible web interfaces and validate designs against requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering teams during the development lifecycle to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), log issues, and ensure quality of deliverables.
- Support the creation of product documentation, release notes, and training materials.
- Monitor product usage and collect user feedback to inform future enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in web-based application development.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in product management or business analysis, preferably in a software or web application environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write clear, concise user stories and business requirements
- Familiarity with wireframing and UX concepts
- Understanding of the Agile/Scrum development process
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with distributed teams
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in software or web application product development
- Experience in the payroll domain or healthcare industry
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field
