Job Description:
Nielsen is a leading online research company specializing in high tech measurement solutions that provide clients with a comprehensive understanding of the online world. The role of the Technical Account Manager would consist of working directly with clients along with the Sales Team, Sales Support Team, and Ad Operations to ensure the diverse product offerings are delivered successfully to the client while also supporting the technical needs of clients.

Job Purpose/ Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the Technical expert for tagging processes/products
  • Ability to manage multiple digital campaigns in parallel, involving campaign creation and monitoring of correct output
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical tagging client inquiries to answer all BAU client requests
  • Monitors and analyzes campaign performance and conducts QC checks.  Consolidates and reports results out to clients
  • Assists the team in product/solution presentations to internal teams and clients
  • Responds to client requests in a timely manner; consistently follows through on issue resolution
  • Helps clients correctly implement and test the Nielsen tags on their digital advertising campaigns and troubleshoots implementation issues as the Technical Expert
  • Escalates/engages support as required to ensure timely turnaround time to clients
  • Knowledgeable about or able to quickly adopt Ad Tagging processes and products to ensure compliance and meeting of delivery schedules/SLAs. Understands relationships of processes to upstream and downstream teams
  • Works across cross-functional teams as needed (Ops, Tech, Engineering, Clients, Client Services)
  • Ability to easily support new assignments by transferring campaign knowledge from one campaign to another with limited additional training

Job Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree or 2+ years of comparable work experience
  • Proven record of delivering quality results on time
  • Uses logic to analyze data and to draw conclusions and convey or provide advice or consultation to business leaders
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively both verbally and in written communication
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google tool suite.  Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of ad serving, basic html, DMPs, DSPs, SSPs, and basic javascript
  • Uses discretion and exercises good judgment in making decisions
  • Creative problem-solving skills and unyielding focus on client satisfaction
  • Aptitude for learning new systems and processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to get work with others effectively 
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in order to effectively support multiple ‘business-critical’ projects/client engagements at once

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $38,000-$155,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location.  The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs
