About A.Team
A.Team is the first members-only network of the world’s top builders—engineers, designers, product managers, and marketers—on a mission to transform how meaningful work gets done. We empower talented professionals to connect and collaborate in flexible, high-impact teams that are reshaping the future of work.
In just two years, over 5,000 builders have launched 250+ teams across 35+ industries. Supported by $55M from Insight Partners, Tiger, Spruce House, RocNation, Adam Grant, and leaders from Upwork, SpaceX, and Apollo, A.Team is pioneering a new builder economy where autonomy, creativity, and results drive success. We foster a culture where autonomy, mastery, and mission fuel extraordinary results.
The Role
As a Team Formation Specialist, you will lead the end-to-end team assembly process—identifying, vetting, and connecting the right builders to the right missions. Develop scalable, repeatable team formation processes that deliver consistent results
Collaborate with Sales to craft persuasive proposals and close deals
Vet and interview builders rigorously to evaluate skills, fit, and communication
Strategically match builders to missions based on client needs and team dynamics
Source external talent when internal capacity doesn’t meet demand
Create compelling team proposals and confidently present them to clients
Continuously analyze team performance data to improve outcomes
Lead targeted outreach campaigns to nurture and expand the builder community
Partner with Support and Evaluation for seamless team execution and client satisfaction
You Might Be a Fit If You
Excel at communication and building lasting relationships
Bring 3+ years of experience in tech, ideally in client-facing or technical roles
Have a solid understanding of tech stacks and product development lifecycle
Thrive in fast-paced, autonomous environments where initiative is valued
Can commit to 6+ hours overlap with 9am–3pm EST
(Bonus) Bring additional expertise beyond ops—such as design, engineering, data analysis (e.g., SQL), or psychology-based research methodology — that can enrich team formation and elevate mission success
A supportive team that has your back: Work with empathetic, entrepreneurial co-workers who are all deeply motivated by our mission to change the future of work
Extensive resources and tools to help you succeed and achieve your own personal goals
Competitive compensation: Attractive base compensation complemented by performance-based incentives
