Job Description SummaryThe Talent Practice Specialist supports GE Vernova’s Empowered Careers approach by driving the execution of how employees grow, perform, and navigate opportunities across the company.
Working closely with the Empowered Careers Leader and broader Talent CoE, this role plays a hands-on role in building and scaling key elements of the Empowered Careers ecosystem — including Career Hub, career pathways, mentoring, and development experiences — while leading execution of enterprise performance processes.
The focus is on making career growth and performance expectations clear, simple, and actionable for employees and managers. This role translates strategy into execution, ensuring both career and performance experiences are consistently delivered, well-understood, and adopted across GE Vernova.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Empowered Careers roadmap — building and scaling solutions like Career Hub, career pathways, mentoring, and development experiences
  • Turn strategy into simple, usable tools and standard work that help employees and People Leaders take action on growth and mobility through enabling technology
  • Drive a more connected employee experience across career development, internal mobility, and learning
  • Bring clarity to careers — helping define and roll out standard work and guidance across roles and segments to activate our employee led, People Leader supported, approach
  • Scale mentoring and development experiences that accelerate employee growth
  • Run enterprise performance processes end-to-end (priority setting, midyear reviews, annual reviews), ensuring consistency and follow-through
  • Equip managers with clear, practical guidance to improve the quality of performance conversations and expectations
  • Drive strong execution of performance rhythms across the company (timelines, communications, coordination)
  • Use feedback and data to continuously improve how careers and performance work in practice
  • Partner across HR, segments, and teams to embed solutions into day-to-day workflows and drive adoption at scale

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline, or equivalent experience; from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of experience in HR, Talent, Performance, Learning, or related field
  • Strong execution capability with the ability to operationalize processes at scale
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across initiatives and enterprise processes
  • Strong organization and project coordination skills
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)

If hired outside the U.S.:

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline, or equivalent experience; from an accredited college or university

Responsabilités essentielles :

  • Exécuter la feuille de route « Empowered Careers » : construire et mettre à l'échelle des solutions telles que le « Career Hub », les parcours de carrière, le mentorat et les expériences de développement.
  • Transformer la stratégie en outils simples, utilisables et en méthodes de travail standard qui aident les employés et les leaders (People Leaders) à agir sur la croissance et la mobilité grâce à des technologies habilitantes.
  • Promouvoir une expérience employé plus connectée entre le développement de carrière, la mobilité interne et l'apprentissage.
  • Apporter de la clarté aux carrières : aider à définir et à déployer des méthodes de travail standard et des conseils dans tous les rôles et secteurs pour activer notre approche où l'employé est aux commandes, soutenu par son manager.
  • Développer le mentorat et les expériences de développement qui accélèrent la croissance des employés.
  • Gérer les processus de performance de l'entreprise de bout en bout (fixation des priorités, entretiens de mi-année, entretiens annuels), en assurant la cohérence et le suivi.
  • Équiper les managers avec des conseils clairs et pratiques pour améliorer la qualité des conversations sur la performance et les attentes.
  • Piloter l'exécution rigoureuse des rythmes de performance à travers l'entreprise (délais, communications, coordination).
  • Utiliser les retours d'expérience et les données pour améliorer en continu les pratiques liées aux carrières et à la performance.
  • Collaborer avec les RH, les segments et les équipes pour intégrer ces solutions dans les flux de travail quotidiens et favoriser leur adoption à grande échelle.

Qualifications / Exigences :

  • Licence (Bachelor) en commerce, ressources humaines ou discipline connexe, ou expérience équivalente ; obtenue auprès d'un collège ou d'une université accréditée.
  • Nombre important d'années d'expérience dans les domaines des RH, des talents, de la performance, de la formation ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Solide capacité d'exécution, avec la capacité d'opérationnaliser des processus à grande échelle.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $92,900.00 and $154,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
