POSITION: Talent Operations Coordinator 

LOCATION: DSST: Home Office located in Denver, CO

SALARY RANGE: $55,000-$67,000 for up to 10 years of aligned experience

STATUS/CLASSIFICATION: Full time, benefits eligible, exempt, in person position (Denver, CO) 

START: Immediately

The Human Resources Team is committed to building an exceptional staff experience by developing equitable and efficient systems, providing timely and accurate support, and ensuring all team members feel valued and supported throughout their employment journey. The Human Resources Coordinator is a home office-based role that serves as a key connector between transformational talent and the broader HR function. This role supports core HR processes with a strong focus on compliance and data accuracy, while playing a critical part in delivering high-quality service and ensuring consistent, employee-centered support across the organization.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Support (30%)

  • Provide comprehensive support for teacher licensing, certifications, onboarding, benefits, compensation, and time off and leave administration.

  • Work closely with other members of the Human Resources team to identify, innovate and implement new ways to improve the experience of DSST staff.

Onboarding and Employee Data (30%)

  • Support the onboarding process for new DSST staff, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

  • Maintain and audit DSST/DPS/APS employee databases to ensure data accuracy and compliance with certification and licensing requirements.

  • Troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure employee records are up to date for compliance and reporting.

HR Systems, Reporting, and Process Improvement (25%)

  • Act as the primary liaison between DPS/APS, Academic Business Systems, and Human Resources to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding district HRIS systems (Oracle).

  • Update training materials, guides, and documentation for network guidance.

Cross-Functional Team Collaboration (10%)

  • Work closely with other members of the Human Capital team to share knowledge, solve problems, and develop scalable HR solutions.

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Generalists to support Zendesk management and oversight to maintain a consistent and high-quality employee support experience.

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and equity-centered HR culture.

  • Stay informed on HR best practices and trends to continuously improve service delivery.

Additional Duties (5%)

  • Play an active leadership role in building and sustaining Home Office culture

  • Engage with our school communities to actively build relationships between our schools and the home office

  • Participate in & support the execution of Home Office & Network-wide events

  • You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, with advanced expertise in spreadsheet functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and complex conditional formulas.

  • Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

  • Full commitment to DSSTs mission, vision, and core values.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited university.

  • At least 1 years of experience in Human Capital

  • At least 2 years experience working with Human Resources systems such as Workday and Oracle.

  • At least 1 year experience with the Colorado Department of Education Teacher Certification requirements
