We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and is ready to make an impact from day one.

In this role, you’ll own a wide range of requisitions, partner directly with hiring managers, and come prepared to serve as a trusted advisor. Responsibilities

  • Champions “The Layton Way” by delivering predictable outcomes for internal teams, external teams, and customers.
  • Manage a large portfolio of requisitions, balancing urgency and quality in every search.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver strong recruiting strategies.
  • Source, screen, and close candidates across multiple disciplines, with an emphasis on construction and subcontractor-related roles.
  • Adapt quickly to changing business priorities and support team goals by aligning efforts with peers.
  • Ensure a seamless candidate experience through timely communication and consistent follow-up.
  • Leverage data and reporting to track progress, share insights, and drive accountability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 2–3 years of recruiting experience, with demonstrated success in high-volume hiring environments. 
  • Experience in construction management, skilled trades, utility construction or related industries highly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workflow, while staying aligned with the broader recruiting team.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple searches in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with both candidates and hiring teams.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and adaptability are critical.
  • Proficiency in ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing platforms.
