Located at Flowserve’s World Headquarters in Irving, Texas, the Talent Acquisition Business Partner plays a crucial role in driving the strategic talent acquisition initiatives of our organization. This role involves collaborating with senior leaders (Business Unit GMs, Functional Leaders, HR Leaders), advising on market trends, and leveraging innovative tools and technology to enhance recruitment processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Monthly Operating Reviews with key leaders within an assigned Division (FPD, FCD, Corporate), to review the status of open requisitions, Workforce Planning (WFP), discuss planned headcount changes, internal talent needs, talent pipelining opportunities, early careers, and more.

  • Advise on Market Trends, External Competitor approaches, and resolve escalated Talent Acquisition (TA) delivery issues.

  • Take strategic TA insights and drive Talent Delivery through Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) / Managed Service Provider (MSP) partnerships.

Tools/Technology to Leverage

  • Workday Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Various Talent Intelligence Platforms (Gartner, Lightcast, etc)

  • WFP Tool/System

  • TA Analytics Platform

  • HR People Scorecard

Business Outcomes

  • Position TA as an ongoing strategic partner.

  • Adopt a proactive approach rather than just focusing on responding to requisitions.

  • Create a venue for L3/L4 leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to collaborate and drive outcomes.

Performance Goals

  • Create and execute an annual “TA Strategic BU/Function” Initiatives plan with stakeholders.

  • BU/Functional Level Goals:

  • Aging Requisition Reduction

  • Hiring Manager Satisfaction

  • Candidate Satisfaction

  • Time to Accept

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, specifically in a role that partners directly with senior leadership

  • 2+ years of experience in Workforce Planning and/or TA Intelligence Platforms (like Gartner/Lightcast/Horsefly)

  • Experience within Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering, or other relevant Industrial industries
