Job Summary:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented System Engineer to lead and maintain our SOC 2 compliance efforts. You’ll work closely with security, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure our systems meet and exceed audit standards.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and improve systems related to SOC 2 controls
  • Support security audits, risk assessments, and evidence collection
  • Collaborate with teams to maintain secure and compliant infrastructure
  • Monitor, document, and respond to system vulnerabilities
  • Maintain compliance documentation and help drive security best practices
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of equivant developed software applications.
  • Proactively manage and monitor the infrastructure platforms, performing periodic health checks, upgrades, patches, firmware updates, and maintenance as required.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, CJIS, NIST or similar frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Hands on installation, configuration, and administration of a broad range of infrastructure platforms: virtualized server/compute systems, high availability and disaster recovery designs, network and security integration, storage infrastructure, and operational tools.
  • Demonstrating technical design and implementation capabilities for hybrid cloud, compute, and shared storage platforms in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of Apache Tomcat, WildFly, WebLogic Application Servers
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft IIS
  • Windows Server 2016/2019/2022/2025
  • Windows 10/11
  • Linux
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or Bash)
  • Familiarity with security tools and system monitoring (CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Automox, PolicyPak)
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
  • Possible travel (approximately 5% of time.)
  • May also provide on-call, after hours and weekend support as needed
  • Basic experience with REST Web Services.
  • Experience in relational databases and structured query language (SQL)
  • Excellent collaboration and verbal/written communication skills
