About the Role

We are seeking a Supply and Logistics Coordinator (Supply Sourcing Coordinator, Clinical Supply Coordinator) to join our team working remotely.

As a Supply and Logistics Coordinator, you will provide tactical sourcing solutions for depots, investigational medicinal products, couriers, and ancillary supplies. You will analyze complex study requirements, advise internal customers, and coordinate sourcing activities that help ensure compliant products and services are available when clinical studies need them.

You will join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work will support clinical study execution through supplier selection, sourcing, contracting, problem resolution, and supply planning. By building effective supplier relationships and improving sourcing processes, you will help teams respond to urgent study needs while maintaining quality, compliance, and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain close working relationships with internal customers and provide professional sourcing advice and assistance at all levels.
• Monitor the quality and efficiency of sourcing processes, pricing accuracy, purchase requests, approvals, and purchase orders.
• Conduct commodity research, supplier selection and evaluation, and requests for information, quotation, and proposals.
• Ensure products and services are obtained at budgeted prices and that ancillary materials and investigational products meet local import and export requirements.
• Coordinate the return of rental equipment and medical devices, manage returns and refunds, and liaise with suppliers to obtain credit documentation.
• Own and action sourcing help desk tickets, create and execute Statements of Work, and complete on-demand sourcing activities that support study needs.
• Analyze data and trends to support predictive bulk purchasing and trigger qualifications of new suppliers with Procurement when required.
• Anticipate sourcing challenges, take ownership through resolution, and work with suppliers to identify comparable compliant ancillary supplies.
• Obtain required supplier and manufacturer documentation for import and export activities.
• Take action on quality issues involving third-party suppliers and manage risk mitigation through resolution.
• Assist internal customers with sourcing questions and system challenges and mentor junior team members.

• An operational understanding of clinical studies, clinical supply chains, and sourcing and contracting principles

• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail when managing multiple priorities and tight timelines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new systems and processes
• A flexible, self-motivated, and professional approach to assignments and continued learning

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or equivalent in biology, pharmacy, another health-related discipline, international trade, business administration, or logistics, or relevant work experience
• Operational understanding of clinical studies, related supply chain activities, sourcing, and contracting principles
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, Good Distribution Practice, and Good Practice requirements
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing study needs
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work with tight timelines and significant urgency while maintaining attention to detail and first-time quality

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of sourcing or procurement experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical environment
• Knowledge of sourcing operations and supplier management
• Cross-functional business team experience
• Process and project management capabilities
