Roles and Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and manipulate data from multiple internal sources to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights on supplier performance and continuity
- Identify KPIs within the data that indicate supplier performance and future risk
- Visualize insights in clear and impactful charts, graphs, and dashboards that will facilitate decision making across GE Aerospace teams
- Work together with the Digital Technology team to apply Excel (or other program) logic to Spotfire live analytic dashboards
- Collaborate with Supplier Partnership & Development team members to design and build new functionality to progress performance, capability, and supply risk tools in accordance with organization needs
- Openly gather feedback to iterate tools and processes to better incorporate supplier performance measurement and supplier continuity into GE Aerospace decision making forums
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or related supply chain roles
- A minimum of 3 years additional experience in sourcing, procurement, or related supply chain roles
Desired Characteristics
- Strong analytical skills for manipulating and interpreting data, identifying trends, and drawing actionable insights
- Mastery of Excel (or other equivalent computer programs)
- Deep domain expertise within Alteryx, Python, and Smartsheet systems
- Mastery of other ‘big data’ tools a plus
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse, fast-paced team environment
- Ability to take high-level ideas and visions to tactically implement functional capabilities
- Ability to understand customer needs and build products to address those needs
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Lean/Continuous Improvement mindset with experience leading change projects
