Ready to lead a high-performing team dedicated to advancing network infrastructure standards? As a HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) Design Supervisor at Spectrum, you'll lead a team of Designers, coordinate policy implementation and drive technical excellence in both coax and PON design. Your leadership will shape critical processes and boost operational performance, making a measurable difference in Spectrum's service delivery.
Shift will be Saturday - Wednesday 8am to 5pm.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead teams of Designers in administering and maintaining company-wide HFC standards for coax and PON design
  • Coordinate the development and execution of policies, procedures and performance measurements to ensure effective design operations
  • Monitor and assist daily business activities to maintain design allocations and track commitments for measurable metrics
  • Develop and mentor your team to encourage solution sharing and knowledge transfer across Design Engineering
  • Respond to technical questions and concerns, acting as a liaison between construction and technical operations groups
  • Assist with departmental OPEX and capital reporting to support budget and resource management
  • Identify and administer technical training for continual team development

What You'll Bring to Spectrum
Required Qualifications
Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College coursework or specialized training in drafting such as AutoCAD or other CAD design

Experience
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience

Skills
  • Advanced knowledge of HFC Design and drafting techniques on various electronic media including Bentley or AutoCAD
  • Spatial and GIS ability in applications such as MapInfo, ArcGIS and Google Earth
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while meeting goals and deadlines within budget
  • Working knowledge of city and map reading
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication
  • Able to work independently and to prioritize and organize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Project
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others

  • Valid driver's license with good driving record

The base pay for this position generally is between
$67,100.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
