Summer 2026 Intern - People Operations

The Human Resources Intern supports the People & Operations team by assisting with employee-led programs and operational projects. You will gain hands-on experience in HR processes, data accuracy, and employee support while contributing to initiatives that enhance organizational efficiency.

What You'll Do

• Collect, review, and process pre-employment paperwork in accordance with company policies
  Coordinate and review background screenings to ensure compliance with HR standards

• Create, maintain, and organize employee personnel files and documentation

• Update and maintain HRIS data to support accurate payroll processing and reporting

• Assist with responding to employee questions and requests in a timely manner

• Develop templates, tools, and communications to drive consistency in HR processes, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment

• Identify gaps in HR deliverables or needs and propose solutions to improve efficiency

• Contribute to HR operations projects that improve processes and support employee programs

What You'll Need

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program, preferably in Business, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related program

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results, and continuous improvement

• The ability to work successfully in a high-energy, fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately

• Experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information

Travel Requirements & Working Conditions

• Minimal travel

• Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva office

Sponsorship Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship now or in the future
