Jawa is a community-first marketplace for tech enthusiasts and gamers to access the best gear. We're a funded, fast-growing, profitable business backed by top investors, with tons of opportunities ahead of us.
Location: Boulder, CO (in-person preferred, open to remote)
💻 What you'll do
We're hiring a high-velocity operator to work directly with our cofounder and CEO to accelerate growth and sharpen how we operate across the marketplace. This is someone who can take an unscoped problem of any size through execution, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomes.
Some weeks that might look like: "create and execute a 60-day GTM plan to triple our AI Workstation business," "create a multi-touch attribution model," or "audit and improve our entire email marketing program to increase retention by 25%." We need someone equally energized by both tactical improvements and meaty strategic projects.
The work touches marketing, product, ops, finance, and just about everything else in the business. If you're willing to work with exceptional intensity, and want to help build a serious company into a category leader, this is the role for you.
👋 What matters to us
1. A couple of years in a role that demanded real rigor. Management consulting, strategy and execution, or engineering, where the standards for accuracy and attention to detail were non-negotiable.
2. You want to own outcomes, not tasks. You must be willing to take extreme ownership of your role and work intensely to bring something ambitious to life.
3. This role is for a hardcore operator, expert generalist, and entrepreneurial 10x AI-native builder: You can move across strategy, operations, finance, partnerships, and marketing with little direction. You've built scalable processes and operating models before, and you bring structure, timelines, and follow-through to every project.
4. You have an AI-first mindset: You lean on systems and tools to solve problems by using automation, prompts, or directing custom agents. You’re technically fluent enough to be comfortable with APIs and low-code tools.
5. You've proven you can thrive in ambiguity: Ideally you've moved from a structured environment into a scrappier, high-agency one where building from scratch is the norm.
Nice to have
Experience in gaming, tech, AI hardware, marketplaces, and ecommerce will be helpful, but more important than specific tools or industry background is that you have drive and demonstrated experience becoming an expert in something unfamiliar quickly.
This is a hybrid role with most of our team in the Boulder / Denver area. Remote candidates will be considered based on fit.
🎁Benefits
- Competitive compensation and equity
- Generous holiday and time-off policy
- Health insurance options, including medical, dental, and vision
- Monthly allowance to dogfood the site. You're expected to develop a deep understanding of our product. We're passionate about building the best user experience, and you'll use Jawa as both a buyer and a seller as part of your job.
- Monthly Steam allowance to fuel the gamer in you
- Outsized ownership: you'll see the impact of your work immediately. As a startup there's a lot that needs doing and things can move fast, but we're typically flexible with schedules if your work is great.
