What y ou'll d o: Strategy Insights & Planning Associate Consultants in the Insights & Analytics Group will ...
What you'll do
  • Apply structured and critical thinking to deconstruct complex client challenges, identify underlying issues, and design impactful strategies grounded in data and business fundamentals.
  • Apply critical thinking and hypothesis-driven problem solving to test assumptions, structure analyses, and shape recommendations.
  • Conduct payer, pricing, and access analyses using tools such as Excel and ZS's proprietary software
  • Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations
  • Develop client relationships and serve as key point of contact on certain aspects of projects
  • Actively support management of the program plan and conduct regular status updates with the client - risk and issue mitigation . You will also as sist in driving the project forward to ensure project goals and deadlines are met
  • Advance problem-solving skills and improve ZS's capabilities
  • M entor and support development of Associates on your projects and teams

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's, PhD or Master's degree in a field with quantitative coursework such as business, economics, marketing, engineering, health policy, life sciences and social sciences.
  • 3-6+ years of relevant post- study professional experience will be considered . P rior experience in consulting, market access, or healthcare strategy is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and storytelling abilities - able to translate complex ideas into clear, persuasive narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and solve unstructured problems with sound logic and critical thinking
  • Curiosity about the healthcare and pharmaceutical policy landscape, including the dynamics of Medicare, Medicaid, and payer systems.
  • High motivation, good work ethic, maturity and personal initiative
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Empathy, adaptability and high personal impact
  • Strong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindset
  • Self-discipline for planning and organizing tasks
  • Aptitude for, and enjoyment of, team leadership

Hybrid working model:

Travel:
Travel is a requirement at ZS for client facing ZSers; business needs of your project and client are the priority. While some projects may be local, all client-facing ZSers should be prepared to travel as needed.
