Position Summary:

Redaptive is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will partner with Category Management to develop and refine cost models supporting each of our go-to-market categories, map supply chain regional and capacity coverage, and create reports/summaries of current Sourcing activities and associated impacts to the company.
Additionally, you will use your excellent communication skills, data analysis experience, and industry knowledge to monitor trends and feedstock indices to influence price negotiations. You will also partner with internal stakeholders to develop to drive efficiencies and positively influence company objectives. This position reports to the Category Management Lead.
Redaptive is an Energy-as-a-Service provider that funds and installs energy-saving and energy-generating equipment. Redaptive’s programs help many of the world’s most sophisticated organizations reduce energy waste, save money, lower carbon emissions, and meet sustainability goals across their entire real estate portfolios.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado under our hybrid work plicy.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Indirect Spend contract management.  Track all active and expiring contracts and work with the functional teams to support renewals and contract management.
  • Contract Negotiation for optimized spend control
  • Lead and manage new vendor onboarding for indirect spending
  • General POcreation and PO support
  • Backup and support other Sourcing related activities – category management, procurement, system compliance and reporting. 
  • Complete market analysis and research for indirect spend categories (i.e. technology costs)
  • Communicate market opportunities and risks to internal stakeholders based on fluctuations in material costs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Cost modeling (lighting, solar, HVAC, data) - 40%
Supplier coverage mapping - 25%

MFX line strategy insight - 10%
Required Abilities and Skills:

  • Excellent contract management and negotiation skills
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and focus.  Great at follow up and driving resolution
  • Excellent presentation, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Highly proficient data analysis and manipulation to create actionable tools
  • Experience/exposure in any of the following: Lighting, HVAC, electrical, building engineering, building construction, metering, manufacturing, or other related industries.
  • Exceptional understanding of supply chain principles and sourcing fundamentals.
  • Organized with an eye for detail. Follow-up and drive tasks to completion.
  • Experience with both commodity and service offerings is a plus.
  • Passionate about Redaptive’s mission to transform the way resources are consumed, making buildings better for people, the planet, and the bottom line.
  • Experience working with US-based companies and cultures preferably in a US/India Structure.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in category management/supply chain management/operations or project management role.
  • Strong technical skills and ability in operational systems and tools, such as ERP systems, CRM software, workflow automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
  • Advanced to expert experience in Excel (and other database software) to manipulate large data sets into impactful tool sets

Travel:
This role does not involve any international travel.
