About the Role

In this role, you will be solely dedicated to owning, managing, and scaling our partnership with a tier-one media partner, specifically focused on their flagship digital properties. This is a high-profile account with massive audience reach, requiring a strategic partner owner who knows how to influence, pitch, and "sell" key initiatives, whether driving buy-in for joint business plans, pitching new digital assets, or expanding commercial activity.

As the ultimate day-to-day partner owner and liaison for our major media partner, you will own the partner P&L, drive performance, commercial growth, and ensure operational success. You will work closely with senior executives both internally and externally to build lasting, high-impact relationships and help get our partner over strategic hurdles to maximize overall impact.

Location:  This is a remote role, however a qualified candidate must reside in the New York / New Jersey area with the flexibility to commute to the partner's New York City office as needed (~2–3 times per month).

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Partner Ownership: Acting as the dedicated day-to-day lead solely focused on the performance, relationship health, and long-term success of this flagship media partnership.

  • Strategic Growth & P&L Ownership: Managing joint business plans, SLAs, and P&L performance to maximize revenue impact. Actively selling new assets, editorial opportunities, and expansion strategies into the partner to drive continuous commercial growth.

  • Executive Liaison & Relationship Building: Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with senior executives and stakeholders both internally and at our major media partner.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Media Sales, Affiliate Marketing, SEO, Product, Engineering, and Finance to align efforts against partner goals.

  • Product & Technical Alignment: Translating commercial needs into actionable product inputs without requiring deep technical engineering capabilities.

  • Reviews & SLA Governance: Leading weekly partnership management syncs, monthly updates, and quarterly business reviews to report on progress, performance, and SLA compliance.

You Will Be Accountable For:

  • Direct P&L ownership for the partnership, including forecasting, margin targets, and growth goals.

  • Meeting or exceeding partner-level KPIs, including traffic growth, acquisition volume, conversion rates, and revenue.

  • Continuous optimization of partnership performance through data-backed strategies, product features, and ongoing refinement.

  • Unlocking new revenue opportunities through media/sponsorship integration, content expansion, and strategy alignment.

Your Skillset:
  • Experience: 5+ years in digital partnerships, digital media management, account management, or performance marketing within fast-paced digital environments.

  • Affiliate & Performance Models: Deep expertise in performance marketing; hands-on experience and comfort working with affiliate revenue models, affiliate partners, and the broader digital affiliate ecosystem.

  • P&L & Strategic Ownership: Demonstrated track record of owning a partner P&L, managing business plans, selling in new growth concepts, and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.

  • Industry Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the iGaming space, sportsbooks, betting-centric traffic, and/or predictive markets.

  • News Vertical Experience (A Plus): Prior experience working with or within digital news properties or news media networks is strongly preferred.

What You’ll Get Back From Us

Alongside of being challenged daily and a real interest in your development, you will also receive:

  • Attractive Compensation Package: Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses. The annual salary range for this position is $110k to $125k plus 30% incentive bonus.

  • Ample Time Off: Unlimited PTO plan and paid holidays to ensure a healthy work-life balance

  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Fully covered employee medical, dental, vision and life insurance plans

  • Robust Retirement Savings: 401(k) plan with a substantial employer match to secure your future
