A DAY IN THE LIFE

We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team at Duda. This position will be pivotal in filling the top funnel with high-value prospective customers through identification, engagement, and thought-provoking conversation about how Duda can help solve their most critical business challenges. 

You will have the opportunity to impact the bottom line by generating revenue by identifying new customer opportunities. Your primary responsibilities include collaboration with the sales managers and account executives, market research to identify new potential customers, and qualification of these opportunities through independent prospecting and relationship development. 

This position reports to the Team Manager for our Business Development team. This role and your manager are located in our Louisville, CO office.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Research and identify potential Duda customers based on our relevant ICPs (Ideal Customer Profiles) and personas to drive pipeline
  • Identify potential prospect pain points and be able to effectively communicate Duda’s relevant value proposition for the customer’s business 
  • Engage and qualify leads through highly personalized omni-channel outreach to initiate conversations and schedule meetings for the sales team
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with decision makers and champions within target accounts 
  • Convert conversations into meaningful, high-value sales opportunities that progress down funnel
  • Effectively leverage Salesforce, Salesloft, Apollo, and LinkedIn to maintain a high level of prospecting and outreach activities

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • 2+ years of BDR experience in a SaaS or technology business
  • Proven track record of building high-quality pipelines and exceeding targets
  • Deep understanding of business development strategies, market dynamics, and industry trends, with the ability to apply this knowledge to develop innovative solutions
  • Must demonstrate a desire to learn, embrace new concepts, and be passionate about solving problems creatively to create business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-motivated mindset, with the ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and market research tools. Salesforce experience required, SalesLoft and LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience (or similar tools) strongly preferred
  • Account-based Marketing experience is a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This is a hybrid base-plus-commission role with a 70/30 base-to-variable compensation structure. The base salary range for this position is between $49,000 and $63,000 annually, with the variable (commission) component ranging from $21,000 to $27,000. Total on-target earnings (OTE) for this role range from $70,000 to $90,000 per year.

This role is also eligible for stock option grants in our privately held company, based on performance and company policy. We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance and flexible PTO. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and alignment with the role.

WORK LOCATION

Duda values the connection, collaboration, and creativity sparked by working together in person. We also recognize the focus and flexibility that come from remote work. That’s why we have a hybrid schedule in our Louisville, CO office, with three days in-office (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and two days remote (Mon, Fri).
