We are looking for:
A results-driven Staff Solution Architect, to serve as the technical point of contact for customers integrating with our APIs. You’ll work regularly with customer engineering teams, guide them through API usage, help them unblock projects, and create any missing documentation or working examples they need to be successful.
What will you be doing as Staff Solutions Architect at SimSpace?

Your coding skills will allow you to test integrations, produce sample code, and ensure solutions follow best practices.
Networking expertise is a bonus, but your ability to communicate effectively with highly technical audiences is essential.
You’ll work closely with customer success, sales engineering, and back-end development to ensure API-focused customers have a smooth, well-supported experience.
Additional responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the weekly technical contact for customer development teams integrating with SimSpace APIs.
  • Create customer-facing API documentation, quick-start guides, and working code examples tailored to real integration scenarios.
  • Work directly with customer engineers to troubleshoot API usage, review integration approaches, and provide best practice recommendations.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to validate that customer solutions align with platform capabilities and performance goals.
  • Identify documentation gaps during customer engagements and proactively create resources to fill them.
  • Partner with customer success to ensure technical onboarding for API-heavy use cases is smooth and complete.
  • Capture customer feedback on API usability and work with product/engineering teams to drive improvements.
What are the qualifications to apply? To be successful as an Staff Solution Architect, you need to have:
  • 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles involving API integration and direct collaboration with engineering teams.
  • 5+ years programming in Java, Python, or Go.
  • Experience producing clear, concise developer documentation and sample code.
  • Hands-on background in designing scalable, resilient systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with senior engineers and technical leaders at customer organizations.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to contractratual reasons.
