Our Ways of Working
Babylist thrives as a remote-first company, with HQ team members located across the U.S. and Canada. We meet in person twice a year—once as a company and once by department to strengthen the relationships that power our work. We show up consistently, stay purpose-driven, leverage AI to amplify our impact, and achieve results—together, from anywhere.
What the Role Is
As the Staff Product Manager, Health & Education, you’ll lead the end-to-end experience of how Babylist provides guidance to users and how users discover and access valuable offerings including breast pumps, webinars, and 1-1 consultations. You will drive adoption of the rapidly growing Babylist Health business, while also leading the transformation of our in-app guidance from long-form written guides to more dynamic, multi-modal, video-forward content.
You’ll own a highly cross-functional space that spans product, content, and education. That means shaping how your products are introduced during registry setup, integrating offerings seamlessly into the broader registry experience, and growing revenue from these important strategic programs. You’ll work closely with the General Manager of Babylist Health, the VP of Brand & Media, and the Director of Programming to grow their businesses and bring new ideas to life.
This role requires a unique blend of consumer product thinking, entrepreneurial energy, and content strategy. You’ll translate user needs into digital experiences, lead ambiguous zero-to-one product discovery, and design experiments that improve both conversion and user value. We are looking for someone who has shipped consumer-facing products at content-forward companies and knows what it takes to build delightful, measurable experiences from scratch. You work will also necessitate driving transformation of an engrained and established function at Babylist, experience leading through organizational and operational change will be valued.
Who You Are
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record building consumer-facing products (B2C) that deliver measurable business and user impact
- Deep experience with content-forward platforms—you've partnered with editorial, design, and engineering to ship educational, interactive, or video-first features
- Experience in a highly regulated field and/or familiarity with HIPAA compliance a plus
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who has worked closely with Engineering, Design, Operations, and Content teams in past roles
- Skilled at both zero-to-one and one-to-scale product development. Able to shape a vision, define MVPs, and make fast, insight-driven decisions in highly ambiguous environments. And also able to double down on successful products to drive growth.
- Excels in fast-moving, high-ownership environments, especially where not all roles or resourcing are in place from day one
- Thrives in scale-up environments where processes are still being built and speed matters
- You're comfortable and enthusiastic about working in an AI-forward environment where AI tools are part of daily operations. You embrace technology to enhance your work while keeping people at the center.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Own the Babylist Health pre-purchase experience, ensuring the health journey is deeply integrated into the registry and product discovery flow
- Increase health attach rates by improving how and when users engage with medical products like breast pumps or lactation consulting
- Rethink the Guides experience helping Babylist transform its content into a more modern and dynamic experience
- Lead product experiences for educational programming including webinars and podcasts related to registry creation and health, create thoughtful app tie-ins to content experiences
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners across Engineering, Design, Health Ops, Support, and Content to launch impactful features
