What the Role Is
Babylist is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support and scale our CRM and Lifecycle efforts across all channels and user touchpoints. Babylist’s strength lies in the long-term relationship we build with families, and CRM plays a critical role in delivering the right content and actions at the right moments throughout that journey.
In this role, you will partner closely with CRM marketers and leadership to shape measurement strategy, lifetime value thinking, and experimentation across email, push, SMS, and emerging surfaces. You will help find the right balance between trusted Babylist knowledge content and action-oriented messaging, designing, executing, and analyzing segmented campaigns that drive meaningful user and business value. As a senior individual contributor, you will provide thought partnership on campaign performance, testing strategy, and optimization, ensuring CRM decisions are grounded in rigorous, data-driven insights.
While CRM is the primary focus, this role will also provide analytical support for select product and site-level initiatives, such as site merchandising or key product surfaces, as needed. The role sits within the Data organization and reports directly to the Senior Manager of Product Analytics. It is an individual contributor role with a high degree of autonomy, expected to independently own problem spaces, influence cross-functional partners, and elevate analytical rigor across teams.
Who You Are
- You have 6+ years of relevant analytics experience, strong SQL skills, experience working with large datasets, and familiarity with modern analytics tools; experience in ecommerce or consumer products is a plus
- Highly motivated to drive tangible business impact through CRM and Lifecycle analytics across all channels and user touchpoints
- An excellent analytical problem solver with strong judgment in applying data to optimize lifecycle strategy, experimentation, and long-term customer value
- Thoughtful and pragmatic in balancing trusted Babylist knowledge content with action-oriented messaging, using data to guide tradeoffs
- Comfortable acting as a thought partner to CRM marketers and leadership, with the ability to influence strategy through clear, data-backed insights
- Experienced in designing and analyzing experiments and segmented campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, retention, and LTV
- Capable of extending analytical support into product-adjacent areas, such as user behavior analysis or feature impact, when priorities require
- Curious, highly driven to learn and grow, and comfortable operating independently in ambiguous problem spaces
- Experienced working alongside CRM and Lifecycle platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Customer.io), with a strong understanding of campaign execution, segmentation logic, journey building, and data flows required for accurate measurement.

- Drive meaningful, measurable impact by grounding CRM and Lifecycle decisions in rigorous analysis, experimentation, and long-term value thinking
- Design, execute, and analyze CRM experiments and campaigns that improve user engagement and business outcomes across email, push, SMS, and emerging surfaces
- Build, own, and evolve dashboards and reporting that provide clear visibility into lifecycle performance and opportunities for optimization
- Partner closely with CRM marketers and leadership to shape measurement frameworks, evaluate tradeoffs, and prioritize high-impact initiatives
- Partner with CRM and Lifecycle teams to evaluate and measure AI-driven capabilities (e.g., within CRM platforms and adjacent tools), assessing performance and tradeoffs relative to manual approaches through experimentation, analysis, and clear recommendations
- Support adjacent product analytics needs as capacity allows, helping teams better understand user behavior and the impact of new initiatives
- Own your domains end-to-end, maintaining a deep understanding of the users, surfaces, and business outcomes you support
- Manage stakeholder relationships, priorities, and analytical requirements on an ongoing basis, operating as a trusted senior individual contributor

About Compensation
We use a market-based approach to compensation. The starting salary range for this role is:
US $166,207 to $199,407
CAD $150,500 to $188,000
Your starting salary will be based on your location, experience, and qualifications, with increases over time tied to performance, role growth, and internal pay equity.
