- Plan and execute Google Pixel & Android device certifications, managing schedules, risks, and cross-functional communication.
- Act as the primary liaison for DISH 5G network requirements, ensuring alignment with Boost network needs and roadmap visibility.
- Represent internal and external customer requirements for Google Pixel & Android devices, including compliance with Google services.
- Drive DISH approvals for certified devices and coordinate with OEMs throughout certification phases to resolve issues.
- Analyze new Pixel & Android features, define related requirements, and guide OEMs on testing and integration plans.
- Log, track, and resolve testing issues; support Device Technical Leads with emerging technologies and testing efforts.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years prior engineering experience working on phones, modules, IoT devices or similar products that operate on cellular networks
- Experience with Google Pixel & Android requirements and services
- Three or more years' experience in Google Pixel & Android device certifications with network-specific configurations (e.g. DNN/APN, eSIM), network feature testing (e.g. RF conformance and parametric testing, VoNR, RCS)
- Experience and understanding of wireless RATs and protocols such as IMS, 5G, LTE, VoLTE, WiFi Calling
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with vendors/partners
- Excellent writing and interpersonal skills
- Strong software program or project management experience
- Prior experience with 5G network product certification
- Non-terrestrial networks (NTNs) device certification is a plus
