The Cybersecurity Group at SandboxAQ is dedicated to delivering AQtive Guard, our groundbreaking solution for modern non-human identity and cryptography management. We are already launching globally with major organizations, including top-tier financial institutions and government agencies. You will collaborate with a diverse team of cryptographers, mathematicians, ML experts, and physicists to deliver novel solutions.

The Cybersecurity Group is looking for a DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This role is central to our efforts to functionalize AQtive Guard and deliver the next generation of cybersecurity systems.

This person will design and maintain both on-premise and cloud infrastructure, ensuring high-quality deliverables through robust CI/CD pipelines. The primary goal is to bridge the gap between advanced research and fully functional, scalable products in a rapid prototyping environment.

• Integrate research advancements from developers and cryptographers into production-ready new products.

• Design scalable, fault-tolerant architectures for cloud, on-premise, and hybrid cloud deployments.

• Develop and maintain internal tooling, local development environments, and complex codebases.

• Maintain high-quality CI/CD pipelines and concise documentation to ensure reliable delivery.

• Contribute to the achievement of FedRAMP compliance for the AQtive Guard platform.

• Citizenship: US Citizenship and/or security clearance is required due to USG contract requirements.

• Cloud & Orchestration: Strong experience building/maintaining infrastructure in AWS and managing workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Infrastructure as Code: Proven experience defining processes through Terraform and managing CI systems.

• Technical Breadth: Expertise in building large-scale distributed systems and proficiency in multiple scripting languages.

• Soft Skills: Ability to work in a small team/rapid prototyping environment and effectively deal with uncertainty and fluidity.

• Compliance: Experience with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP.

• Tools: Familiarity with configuration management (Ansible, Puppet) or build tools like Bazel.

• Specialized Tech: Knowledge of streaming frameworks (Kafka, Kstreams) and information security best practices.
