Job Duties and Responsibilities
Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview.
The accounting department requires high-integrity ledger management and robust process optimization to support rapid organizational scaling. This role bridges raw transactional data and strategic corporate insights by investigating systemic discrepancies and modernizing workflows. Collaborative engagement with cross-functional teams will ensure that financial reporting dynamically reflects operations and directly informs executive decision-making.
What Success Looks Like (Objectives)

• Manage daily general ledger operations to guarantee the absolute accuracy, integrity, and compliance of core financial data.
• Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies using structured analysis to prevent recurring reporting errors.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align operational workflows with financial objectives, directly impacting team OKRs.
• Execute high-precision month-end and year-end close procedures within compressed timelines to accelerate financial reporting.
• Leverage automated tools and machine learning applications to streamline data entry, reduce cycle times, and optimize ad-hoc reporting pipelines.

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to resolve complex financial anomalies at their root.
• Advanced technical proficiency in spreadsheet modeling (such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) alongside modern querying tools like SQL or Snowflake.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous eye for detail to handle multiple high-priority tasks under pressure.
• Highly effective communication abilities to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights for non-finance business units.
• Advanced AI literacy and application skills, specifically utilizing generative tools to automate reporting tasks and optimize general ledger workflows.
• Critical experiences in fast-paced progressive accounting environments, showcasing a solid mastery of fundamental accounting systems and structures.

Additional Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Active CPA license or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Previous experience working within a Big 4 or top-tier public accounting firm.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Required Technical Skills:
  
  • Microsoft Excel (specifically pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling functions)
  • Database query tools (SQL or Snowflake)
  • General ledger management and account reconciliation systems

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $90,000.00/Year
