Meet the team:

The IT Network & Systems Services Team is a global organization that supports all critical infrastructure services with a security and automation first mindset and practice.  The team is involved in many projects to improve our capabilities and services offered to the entire company.  We lead the way in setting the standards and best practices for running and maintaining such platforms.

The Sr. Staff Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network infrastructure solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of network technologies and the ability to lead complex projects. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network to support our business operations.

Where you come in:

  • Design, implement, and maintain advanced global network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Network engineers across global regions, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Lead and manage complex network projects from planning to execution.
  • Develop and Implement a Network Technology Roadmap with inputs from the larger Network Engineering team.
  • Develop and enforce network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to support business initiatives and projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers globally.
  • Stay current with emerging network technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for network systems.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for network-related incidents and escalations.

What makes you successful::

  • 10+ years of experience in network engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience leading network engineering teams.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing large-scale network infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security technologies.
  • Proficiency in network-related programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong experience in managing complete infrastructure including the following technologies:
    • Routing/Switching/Wireless (Cisco, Extreme, Arista)
    • Firewalls (Palo Alto)
    • VPN (Palo Alto, Cisco)
    • NAC (ForeScout)
    • Load Balancing (Citrix NetScaler)
    • SD-WAN (Palo Alto, Masergy)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 13+ years related experience or a Master’s degree and 8+ years equivalent industry experience of a PhD and 5+ years of experience.

$141,800.00 - $236,400.00
