We are looking for a highly motivated, real self-starter to join SailPoint as our Social Media Leader. In this remote role, you will be the lead architect of our global brand social media investments, defining how SailPoint communicates the value of our Identity Security Platform and solutions to the broader market.
This is not a traditional desk-bound strategy role. You are a creator at heart who can strategize, shoot, edit, and post. We are seeking an AI-forward leader who seamlessly shifts between high-level omnichannel planning and hands-on execution. You will act as the primary driver of our social master plan, ready to work collaboratively across product marketing, PR, and employee advocacy to exponentially extend our team's reach. You know which subreddits IT leaders actually read, which LinkedIn voices in B2B SaaS are worth studying, and what's currently going on in AI Twitter without having to look it up. You are as comfortable with technical content as you with socializing an event.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with key stakeholders across the marketing and product teams. Audit SailPoint’s current social footprint, technology stack, and existing AI toolsets. Gain a deep understanding of our identity security messaging.
Decide what SailPoint's social presence looks like across LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and YouTube — and make the call on which platforms are worth investing in vs. ignoring.
Write posts, company posts, product launches, customer stories, hot takes on the ITSM and AI agent space. You'll be the person whose words actually go up.
Build the content engine: editorial calendar, repeatable formats, asset workflow with design, review process with product marketing, and a feedback loop on what's working
Implement your AI-powered content engine, tools and operational frameworks. Begin running organic and brand social campaigns and optimize our publishing cadences.
Take full ownership as the "quarterback" of SailPoint's social strategy. Demonstrate measurable progress on pipeline influence, engagement metrics, and operational efficiency through your AI and automation workflows.
AI-Assisted Content Engine: Build and manage social tools to augment your work and boost productivity to script, adapt, and scale posts, short-form video, and carousels while strictly protecting SailPoint's brand voice.
Omnichannel Mastery: Own the strategic blueprint and editorial calendar across LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Instagram, and other emerging platforms. Balance the emotional resonance of high-reach channels with the tactical precision of targeted digital platforms.
Precision Measurement: Partner with analytics teams to treat every media dollar as a strategic investment. Instrument analytics (GA4, UTM governance, CRM integrations) to track engagement, CAC, and multi-touch attribution (MTA) models for pipeline impact.
Paid & Organic Execution: Run continuous paid social experiments and always-on programs (e.g., LinkedIn Campaign Manager). Optimize creative, audience segments, and bidding strategies to generate inbound traffic and demand.
Social Listening & Intelligence: Deploy advanced social listening tools to identify market trends, capture voice-of-customer, and feed strategic insights back to the product and sales teams.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a true self-starter by partnering closely with brand creative, PR, product marketing and demand generation to ensure assets are purpose-built for the modern media landscape.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 7+ years managing multi-channel global social or media programs, ideally within enterprise SaaS, cybersecurity, or identity security. Agency-side or global enterprise media planning roots are a plus.
AI & Tech Fluency: Hands-on, practical experience using AI tools for content summarization, ideation, and generation. Expert-level proficiency in the modern media stack (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, TradeDesk, native ad platforms).
Strategic Authority: A proven self-starter who operates with B2B architectural knowledge and B2C empathy. Strong ability to influence executive leadership and justify investments using data-driven logic.
Analytical Rigor: Deep understanding of funnel attribution, ROI delivery, and experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, growth loops). Capable of translating metrics (CTR, MQLs) into executive-level performance narratives.
Education & Travel: BA/BS degree required. Remote position with approximately 20–30% travel for corporate events or planning sessions.
