We are seeking a data-driven, entrepreneurial operator to join a lean and scrappy Regulatory Operations team supporting two emerging business verticals inside a global technology platform. In this contract role, you will help scale regulatory compliance strategies for a fast-evolving, global landscape, partnering with legal, engineering, supply, and operations teams to design smarter, more efficient processes. This is not a traditional regulatory operations job. We value curiosity, learning, and pragmatic innovation. You will own compliance programs, align strategy and execution across diverse stakeholders, and present to both cross-functional peers and senior leadership. You are energized by improving how things work, thrive on leveraging data and technology, and can balance being scrappy with polished communication. What You'll Do
- Use SQL to pull, analyze, and interpret data on a regular basis, sizing and prioritizing issues to inform decision-making.
- Serve as a collaborative partner to Legal, Engineering, Supply, and Scaled Operations teams, supporting daily operational needs and identifying improvements across vendor performance, forecasting, and pipeline health.
- Self-serve data needs by writing queries and building dashboards that support evolving compliance and operational requirements.
- Establish and maintain operational rhythms by owning stakeholder management, project tracking, documentation, and process improvement.
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, streamline, and automate regulatory workflows, leveraging AI and technology to reduce manual work and boost efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to explore, test, and implement new tools, including AI-enabled solutions, ensuring successful rollout, enablement, and adoption.
- Analyze operational and regulatory risks, identify strategic opportunities, and build reporting and tool infrastructure that supports evolving compliance needs.
- Lead change management and continuous improvement initiatives, supporting frontline teams and documenting best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Interface with engineering and product teams to resolve operational issues and support frontline operations, including onboarding supply onto the platform within SLAs and timelines.
8+ years of progressive experience in operations, management consulting, regulatory operations, or program management within dynamic, ambiguous, entrepreneurial environments.
Strong SQL proficiency with the ability to pull, analyze, and create learnings from data independently. Comfort writing queries on a day-to-day basis.
Demonstrated project management skills with experience leading programs at scale.
Experience interfacing directly with engineering and product teams.
Proven ability to handle ambiguity, problem-solve independently, and operate as a flexible generalist.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, including presentation and change management experience.
Hands-on, builder mindset, comfortable piloting and implementing solutions rather than just advising.
High attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities.
Bachelor's degree.
