Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing assigned projects, planning and maintaining project schedules, and providing project status updates in support of regional initiatives, goals and objectives.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, budgets and client deliverables. Track performance metrics and report on pipeline health and revenue forecasts. Track, maintain and provide reporting on regional goals, objectives and budget metrics.
- Identify processes and/or tools in need of review and analysis, make recommendations for improvement and assist with implementation.
- Coordinate and monitor the regional team business development strategy as directed by the Regional Manager, tracks metrics and provides regular reporting on progress.
- Work with team members to identify business development opportunities, increase revenue and profitability.
- Manage budgets and resource leveling for operations in support of contract compliance and profitability, in coordination with regional manager, program managers, and service line leads.
- Support and encourage a culture of collaboration and continuous process improvement with an emphasis on scope management, client satisfaction, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Actively utilize, and provide assistance to others with, project management best practices that include but are not limited to: scope management, change requests, project schedules, cost management, quality assurance, reporting and escalations, risk and issue management, stakeholder management and systems development lifecycle.
- Actively utilize, and provide assistance to others with, service management best practices that include but not limited to: client relationship management, change management, client assistance and support, incident management, problem identification and solutioning, and continuous improvement.
- Provide recommendations to region leadership to improve team operational performance to ensure client satisfaction and increase profitability. Work with local managers to resolve resource constraints and build capacity in client teams.
- Prepare internal and external high-level executive reports for managers and senior staff.
- Develop and deliver internal trainings to build project management capacity, as requested.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:

- Effective communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships and effectively collaborate with technical and project teams in a matrixed organization.
- Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven with the adaptability and resilience to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office applications skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access).
- Proficient in Project Management concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) time zone.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field, master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Project Management Certification (PMP) or equivalent
This position is remote with travel/onsite requirements. To be successful at PCG, you must:
- be available during your set working hours
- have a safe, private, and distraction-free environment in which to complete your work, and
- be able to give your full attention to the completion of your PCG job duties
Some travel to the office or elsewhere may be required for team meetings, client meetings, etc. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role Range: $82,000 - $130,000
