First Help Financial, voted and certified as a “Great Place to Work” by our workforce for Five years in a row, is adding a new partner to our Operations department to accommodate our remarkable growth! We are looking for a heavyweight Senior Project Manager to serve as a strategic right hand to our leadership team. This is not just a "task-tracking" role; we need a high-EQ leader who can navigate the complexities of a fast-growing organization.

You will be responsible for orchestrating mission-critical initiatives that bridge Technology, Risk, Sales, Operations, Finance, and Compliance. You will be expected to command a room of executives, manage high-stakes stakeholder dynamics, and—most importantly—evangelize project management excellence across a team that is still maturing its processes.

What you will do:

Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Strategic Execution: Translate the COO’s vision into actionable roadmaps. You will own the "big picture" while ensuring no detail is missed across multi-departmental workstreams.
  • Executive Presence & Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the C-suite on project health. You must be able to distill complex technical or operational roadblocks into clear, data-driven executive briefings.
  • Stakeholder Diplomacy: Masterfully navigate "hard" stakeholders and competing departmental priorities. You will use influence, not just authority, to drive alignment between Engineering, Sales, and Compliance.
  • PMO Evangelism: Act as a mentor and coach. Since many teams are unfamiliar with formal PM frameworks, you will "build the tracks while the train is moving," teaching others how to work within structured project environments.
  • Technical & Risk Integration: Facilitate deep-dive sessions with Engineering and Credit Risk teams to ensure technical solutions are architecturally sound and compliant with financial regulations.
  • High-Stakes Problem Solving: Step into ambiguous or high-pressure situations to resolve conflicts, re-allocate resources, and keep critical deadlines on track.

What you bring:

  • 4+ Years of Experience: You have a proven track record of managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in complex industries (FinTech or Financial Services preferred).
  • Exceptional Gravitas: You are comfortable challenging executives when necessary and can maintain composure in high-pressure environments.
  • Change Management DNA: You have experience introducing structure to "unstructured" teams and can demonstrate how you’ve successfully led teams through process transformations.
  • Technical Fluency: You understand APIs, databases, and system integrations well enough to "sniff test" a project plan and hold engineering teams accountable.
  • The "Strategic" Mindset: You don’t just check boxes; you ask why we are doing a project and how it impacts the bottom line.

FHF Benefits:

  • Great Perks – We offer generous salaries, competitive health and welfare benefits, paid vacation, 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, quarterly social outings, monthly lunches, a robust employee recognition, and training development program to enhance your career with us.
  • Culture - We are believers in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While we work hard and care deeply about our customers and partners, we want you to have room for your family, friends, and yourself.
  • Growth - Company growth provides unprecedented career growth. FHF’s extraordinary year over year growth in revenue and new markets provides opportunity for you to establish and develop your career growth. We engage each employee to build a career plan that benefits everyone and we have a proven record of investing in you.

Diversity and Inclusion

FHF is committed to building a culture that respects and embraces all walks of life, inclusive of all genders, race, culture, sexual orientation, age, and other identities. We will make accommodations when interviewing anyone with special needs.
