As the In-Market Product Manager for LATAM & Puerto Rico, you will lead the definition and execution of Axon’s product strategy across the region — spanning our Digital Evidence Management (DEMs) and Devices portfolios.
You will be responsible for translating the realities of diverse public safety ecosystems across LATAM — including federal, state, and municipal agencies — into clear, actionable direction for our global product teams. You’ll partner closely with regional Sales and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities, shape tenders and procurement processes, and drive adoption, while ensuring Product and Engineering remain aligned to what’s feasible and high-impact.
This is a highly autonomous role requiring a blend of market fluency, technical breadth, and disciplined execution. You’ll represent regional needs within Axon, balancing the urgency of field operations with the rigor of product development.
Location: Remotely from Puerto Rico and on the road 35% of time
Reports to: Sr Director, International Product Management
- Lead Axon’s Expansion in LATAM & Puerto Rico: Define and execute the strategy for introducing and scaling Axon’s full ecosystem — from body cameras to digital evidence management — across the region.
- Core Product Discovery: Truly discover user and regional need and VoC to ideate and build out comprehensive engineering and product briefs
- Core Product Management: Work directly with distributed Engineering and Product teams to build localized features or iterations end to end to deliver market value at speed.
- Partner with Customers and Sales: Work directly with agencies and Axon’s regional sales team to uncover operational needs and translate them into clear product priorities.
- Shape Product Strategy: Represent LATAM realities in global product planning, ensuring our roadmaps reflect regional constraints (e.g., infrastructure variability, procurement models, regulatory environments) and deliver meaningful impact in the field.
- Bridge Sales and Product: Bring clarity and structure to fast-moving, multi-country deals. Align what’s promised externally with what can be delivered internally, ensuring precision and follow-through.
- Drive Tender Success: Engage early in regional tenders and RFPs to shape requirements, guide proposal strategy, and position Axon to win high-impact opportunities.
- Champion Axon’s Ecosystem: Act as the regional advocate for Axon’s technology, demonstrating how our connected, cloud-first solutions transform public safety outcomes.
- 6+ years in product management, with direct experience engaging customers and translating field needs into product outcomes.
- Proven experience building projects E2E.
- Proven ability to operate autonomously in complex, cross-functional environments and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Experience spanning both software and hardware products; familiarity with SaaS, Cloud, or IoT ecosystems is a strong plus.
- Strategic Problem-Solving: Skilled at structuring ambiguity, identifying trade-offs, and driving alignment across diverse teams operating in multiple countries.
- Strong core Product Management & Engineering accumen: Skilled Product Manager that can truly reverse engineer user need and build features end to end with Engineers, driving the development and product roadmap. Ensuring UX and UI standards are met and the products are all being built and executed with a 'Product first' mindset.
- Technically Broad: Able to quickly understand and explain how Axon’s connected ecosystem delivers superior outcomes compared to on-premise or point solutions.
- Detailed and Organized: Brings rigor to execution—tracking commitments, dependencies, and documentation to ensure follow-through across distributed teams.
- Communication and Writing Clarity: Communicates with precision, turning complex technical or market concepts into clear, actionable narratives for different audiences across the region.
- Adaptable and Resilient: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment, maintaining focus and momentum through changing market dynamics.
- Fluency in English and Spanish required
- Flexibility to travel across LATAM & Puerto Rico and internationally as needed (~20%)
