As a Senior Product Experience Designer, you will shape the user experience for our Application Observability solutions, ensuring users can seamlessly monitor, debug, and optimize their applications. You will work on journeys for logs, distributed tracing, services, and live debugging, crafting intuitive, elegant experiences for highly technical tools.

You will play a critical role in collaborating with product managers and engineers to ensure designs align with user needs, technical feasibility, and business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of user workflows, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to ask the right questions to drive meaningful solutions.

In This Role, You Will

  • Design end-to-end user experiences for distributed tracing, live debugging, and log management.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand requirements, advocate for user needs, and ensure designs address customer pain points.
  • Partner with engineers to ensure your designs are both technically feasible and user-friendly, leveraging technical knowledge to improve workflows.
  • Conduct user research and testing to deeply understand customer pain points and validate your designs.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across the Application Observability suite and the broader Dynatrace platform.
  • Balance system performance, scalability, and usability to deliver exceptional experiences.
What will help you succeed
  • At least 5 years of experience designing digital software products, with a focus on enterprise software or SaaS solutions.
  • Proficiency in prototyping with Figma and proven ability to create elegant, intuitive user journeys
  • Ability to ask critical questions and collaborate with product managers to align designs with user needs and business goals.
  • Technical knowledge is a strong plus, including familiarity with APIs, developer workflows, or basic coding.
  • Experience designing for developer-focused products, such as monitoring, debugging, or observability tools is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with vibe coding or tools that bridge design and development is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for solving complex problems and designing for highly technical users.

Compensation and Rewards

  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to this position, which is EUR 60,000 gross per year (based on full-time). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
