Meet the Moment with Alteryx

We're living through a once-in-a-generation shift in how work gets done. Data, automation, and AI are quickly becoming the center of every business decision - and Alteryx is leading the transformation.

You'll be working on the challenges that sit at the heart of modern business. No matter your role, the work you do will help organizations move faster, see more clearly, and tackle questions that used to feel impossible.

If you're ready to meet the moment with innovation, curiosity, and excellence, there's a place for you here.

Senior Principal Product Manager – Enterprise Data Plane
Alteryx is seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager to lead our enterprise data plane strategy, enabling the world’s largest organizations to securely, reliably, and intelligently operationalize data and AI at scale. This role sits at the center of our platform transformation, defining how data is ingested, governed, processed, and activated across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
You will operate at the intersection of product strategy, architecture, and customer outcomes—owning the vision and execution for a modern enterprise-grade data plane that meets the demands of Fortune 500 customers.
What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive the long-term vision for Alteryx’s enterprise data plane, including ingestion, orchestration, transformation, governance, and runtime execution.
  • Partner with engineering to evolve our architecture toward a scalable, cloud-native, API-first, and AI-ready platform.
  • Work directly with our largest enterprise customers to understand complex data environments (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, on-prem, hybrid) and translate needs into platform capabilities.
  • Lead product strategy for performance, scalability, security, and compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, etc.).
  • Shape how Alteryx integrates into modern data stacks, including semantic layers, data catalogs, and AI/ML workflows.
  • Drive decisions on build vs. partner vs. acquire across critical data plane components.
  • Influence cross-functional teams across engineering, GTM, customer success, and partnerships to deliver cohesive platform capabilities.
  • Establish clear metrics for adoption, performance, and enterprise readiness; own outcomes, not just roadmap.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years in product management, with significant experience in data platforms, infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Deep understanding of modern data architectures: ETL/ELT, lakehouse, streaming, query engines, and semantic layers.
  • Proven experience building or scaling data plane or control plane systems in cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Strong technical fluency—you can engage credibly with architects and engineers on system design and tradeoffs.
  • Experience working with large enterprise customers and navigating complex requirements and buying processes.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels, from vision-setting to detailed product decisions.
  • Clear communicator who can align executives, engineers, and customers around a shared direction.

Why This Role Matters
Alteryx is evolving from a workflow-centric tool into a platform powering enterprise-scale data and AI outcomes. The data plane is foundational to that shift. This role will directly shape how enterprises trust, scale, and operationalize Alteryx in mission-critical environments. This role directly reports into the Vice President of Product Management.
