THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sr. Oracle Fusion Business Analyst is responsible for providing specialized support for Project Management and Services Delivery functions, leveraging enterprise application systems to optimize business processes and enhance operational efficiency. Areas of focus include project management, resource management, project financial management, project costing, project billing, revenue management, time and labor, and services delivery operations.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Serves as the business systems lead and subject matter expert for Project Management and Services Delivery business processes, supporting new or revised software systems, business processes, production issues, and approved enhancements.
  • Manages and coordinates application upgrades, patches, enhancements, and system maintenance activities. Ensures compliance with best practices, governance standards, and system security while maintaining supporting documentation.
  • Configures, maintains, and optimizes enterprise applications to meet the evolving needs of the Project Management Office (PMO), Services Delivery, and related business organizations.
  • Engages with business stakeholders to identify and define system and process improvements capable of meeting current and future business needs.
  • Collaborates with technical teams to design and implement integrations between Project Management applications and other enterprise systems, including Financials, HCM, Sales, Contracts, Payroll, and reporting platforms.
  • Provides operational and project support for system modifications, including application configuration, business process improvements, and change management activities.
  • Conducts detailed analysis of existing project management and services delivery processes to identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and operational improvement.
  • Utilizes expertise in enterprise applications to design and configure solutions that improve project execution, resource utilization, financial management, and services delivery while minimizing customizations where possible.
  • Oversees data quality within supported applications and partners with the Corporate Analytics team to develop dashboards, reporting, and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Develops and delivers end-user training and provides ongoing operational support to business users, working closely with technical teams to resolve functional issues.
  • Reports system issues to software vendors and works collaboratively to resolve defects and implement product enhancements.
  • Promotes user adoption by facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), developing user procedures, guidelines, and documentation, and supporting organizational change management initiatives.

SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience with Oracle Fusion or Oracle EBS supporting enterprise business applications, with significant experience supporting project-based and professional services business processes.
  • Hands-on functional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Project Portfolio Management (PPM), including functional design, configuration, testing, implementation, and/or production support.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion PPM capabilities such as Project Management, Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, and Resource Management.
  • Strong understanding of project financial processes, including project setup, labor and time collection, project costing, billing, revenue, and financial reconciliation.
  • Experience translating business requirements into Oracle Fusion functional designs and application configuration.
  • Experience supporting integrations between Oracle PPM and related enterprise functions, including HCM/Time and Labor, Payroll, Financials, Contracts, CRM, and reporting..

WHAT SETS YOU APART

  • 5 years of Oracle Fusion
  • Experience supporting federal government contracting or government services organizations, with an understanding of the project and financial processes associated with delivering work under government contracts.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting concepts that affect enterprise systems, including contract and task structures, funding, labor charging, project costing, indirect costs, billing, revenue, and compliance-driven financial controls.
  • Experience implementing or supporting Oracle Fusion PPM within a federal contractor, government contractor, or similarly complex project-based services environment.
  • Experience participating in or leading an Oracle EBS Projects to Oracle Fusion PPM transformation.
  • Experience serving as a functional lead or Senior Business Systems Analyst through requirements, fit-gap, solution design, configuration, testing, UAT, deployment, and production support.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT INFORMATION

The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $155,000. This range reflects the anticipated base pay for the position and is not a guarantee of final compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, contract requirements, and business needs.

Iron Bow Technologies reserves the right to fill this role at a different level, depending on qualifications and organizational priorities. This range represents only one component of Iron Bow’s total compensation package. An overview of our benefits is available on our careers page.
