We are seeking to add a Mechanical Development Engineer to our team. Responsible for designing, validating, and implementing innovative and cost-effective product solutions of complex scope to support the organization in prototype development through full-scale production.
What a typical day looks like:
- Apply complex design practices and procedures to assigned product portfolio in areas like sheet metal design/ fabrication, soft tooling process and equipment; Telecom infrastructure products such as chassis, cabinets, racks, etc
- Integrate multiple elements of finished design (such as backplane/ interconnect power distribution, thermal management).
- Work with other members of the development team to support corporate design initiatives.
- Prepare recommendations for production and technology roadmaps that supports customer expectations
- Support actively customer base with design improvements that enhance manufacturability and assembly while minimizing costs
The Experience we are looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Typically requires 10 years of experience in engineering with proven technical leadership.
- Experience in Data center, racks to compute to liquid cooling and thermal.
- Wide experience on sheet metal design and thermal management
- High knowledge and management of the operation of mechanical software tools (CREO and Solid Works)
- Manage from the design process through production phase
