  • We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead and harmonize the efforts of two distinct development teams: Trimble Traqspera and HRIS Spectrum. This role requires a leader capable of managing diverse technological landscapes, driving efficient development processes, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of both product lines, fostering a collaborative environment, and mentoring team members.

    Position Summary:
    This role involves managing two separate software development teams, Trimble Traqspera and HRIS Spectrum. You will ensure that both teams operate efficiently, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality software. This requires understanding the unique challenges and requirements of each product line and providing effective leadership and support.
     

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage two distinct software engineering teams (Trimble Traqspera and HRIS Spectrum), including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.

    • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of software solutions for both product lines.

    • Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable development plans.

    • Drive product non-functional roadmaps and strategic planning for both teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    • Manage software development lifecycles for both product lines, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.

    • Establish and maintain best practices for secure, software development and deployment across both teams.

    • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the two teams and with other departments.

  • Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

    • Minimum of 5 Years of relevant experience in software engineering roles, including at least 3 years in a management role.

    • Proven experience managing multiple software development teams with diverse technical stacks.

    • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

    • Experience with various programming languages and technologies. (e.g C#, Angular, React, Azure, SQL)

    • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.

    • Proven leadership and team management skills.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
