  • Analyze marketing and business performance across brands, markets, franchise locations, and customer segments, connecting marketing activity to sales, car count, average ticket, same-store performance, and profitability.
  • Lead complex analyses integrating Marketing, Finance, Operations, and customer data to diagnose changes in business performance, identify underlying drivers, and recommend specific actions.

Marketing Channel & Customer Analytics

  • Analyze marketing channel and customer performance across paid search, paid social, programmatic and traditional media, direct mail, email, SMS, CRM, organic and local search, and website performance, evaluating the customer journey from media engagement through conversion, acquisition, retention, and sales outcomes to develop actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and refine marketing measurement and attribution frameworks that connect marketing investments to customer behavior, incremental sales, and return on investment across channels.
  • Leverage descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, including customer segmentation, propensity, churn, retention, and demand forecasting, to identify performance drivers and provide actionable insights that inform marketing strategy and decision making.
  • Partner with external agencies and analytical specialists to evaluate methodologies, validate models, and ensure analytical insights are effectively applied to marketing strategy and execution.

Experimentation, Promotions & Marketing Effectiveness

  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Operations to evaluate promotions, discounts, and pricing initiatives, linking marketing performance to unit-level sales results and providing data-driven recommendations on campaigns and promotions.
  • Translate business questions into testable hypotheses and partner with Marketing to design and execute A/B, multivariate, and geographic experiments using MarketDial and other analytical tools.
  • Establish sound testing methodologies, including control groups, statistical validation, and causal inference, and translate experimental results into actionable recommendations.
  • Evaluate marketing investment effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve resource allocation, efficiency, and incremental business results.

Business Insight, Market Intelligence & Data Strategy

  • Develop competitive and market intelligence analyses that reveal changes in consumer demand, competitive conditions, customer behavior, and local market dynamics, informing marketing, messaging, offer, and promotional strategies.
  • Partner with Marketing, Finance, IT, and other business groups to identify data source gaps, improve data quality, and evolve the data infrastructure and analytical capabilities needed for effective marketing measurement and business diagnosis.
  • Apply modern analytical technologies, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve the speed, accuracy, and effectiveness of data exploration, modeling, reporting, and insight development.

Business Partnership & Communication

  • Serve as a senior analytical partner to Marketing leadership, independently framing complex business questions, leading analytical initiatives, and coordinating internal and external analytical resources.
