The Impact of a Sr. Lead Platform DevOps at Coupa:
As a Sr. Lead Platform DevOps Engineer, you’ll build self-service solutions that boost efficiency for teams across Cloud Ops, Engineering, Support, and Customer Value. Your work will directly accelerate our ability to serve customers more effectively. What You'll Do:
- Own, build and run a suite of impactful platforms built on modern cloud technologies that provide a suite of functionality delivering APIs, integrations, security, messaging, streaming, identity, performance, reliability & containers
- Build a multi-region and multi-cloud platform that allows scalable, secure service delivery across hundreds of services on AWS & Azure clouds in a regulated environment
- Act as a primary lead partnering to provide technical guidance, support, and direction for several platform engineering teams
- Develop and drive long-term strategies and roadmaps aligning with business priorities in partnership with the Dev and product Management team
- Take full ownership of products and has a track record of sustainably delivering high quality features & managing technical debt
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- 8+ years of hands-on Platform engineering experience using Go, Python, Java, Ruby or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in a lead engineering role, working with a diverse & distributed team located across the globe
- Experience with data platforms (Elasticsearch, Kafka), queueing & background services (SQS, SNS, Resque), identity services (Keycloak,, FreeIPA), integrations (API gateways, middleware), application security, or cloud performance optimization as well as experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, ECS)
- Experience building & running modern full-stack cloud applications using public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) reliably and at scale
- A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
The estimated pay range for this role is $180,200 - $221,425
The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
