The Impact of Director, Product Manager to Coupa
As a Director, Product Manager for Coupa, you will be responsible for the overall product strategy and its critical synergies with other Coupa products, such as Procurement, Sourcing, Risk, Supplier Management, etc.
In this role, you will communicate with all the key stakeholders—our customers, partners and the various internal teams within the company— and ensure that our vision is clearly articulated in the market. You will work with PMs, developers, UX, architects, and quality engineering to define thoughtful, detailed product release requirements. You will work with the marketing team to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them crystallize the product's positioning, business value, key benefits, and target customers. You will also evangelize your product offering internally (e.g., sales) and externally with our customers and partners.
What You'll Do:
- Define the complete set of product requirements by engaging with customers & other internal stakeholders
- Be the “CEO of the product” and manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning, road mapping, feature design, development support, go-to-market, and field support for components of the Coupa Sourcing product
- Own Coupa's Supply Chain vision and lead the supply chain product team in growing the business
- Work cross-functionally to ensure alignment between other product areas and the wider organization. Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by close collaboration with customers and prospects
- Work closely with engineering through design, build, test of requirements (stories) and documentation
- Continually assess our products’ competitive market position
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Must have 8-10 years of Product Management experience, including experience in enterprise SaaS
- Experience with areas of business spend management like supply chain business process, inventory/forecast, sourcing, contracts, procurement, and payments
- Must have ERP experience such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.
- You’re biased toward action, a great collaborator. You never stop pushing toward clarity and delivery
- Strong fundamentals with application development, Agile software development, Jira, Confluence and mastery of writing analytics SQL queries
- Experience with global requirements and international regulations affecting Enterprise SaaS software
The estimated pay range for this role is $170,000 - $223,000
The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
