A Day in the Life:
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and scale critical rental systems that power core business operations. This role requires strong expertise across both frontend and backend development, with the ability to design end-to-end solutions, drive architecture decisions, and deliver highly scalable, resilient systems.
You will work across the full technology stack, partnering with product, design, and engineering teams to build modern, customer-centric rental experiences and robust backend platforms.
What you will do:
- Design, develop, and implement complex user interfaces for web applications.
- Build and scale web systems, focusing on the frontend architecture, using modern JavaScript frameworks, HTML, CSS, React, and related tools.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow and also help with API design to deliver a good user experience.
- Optimize web applications for performance, accessibility, and usability.
- Set a high bar for code quality, test coverage, and user experience for the frontend.
- Drive improvements in frontend development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and other teams to deliver high-value features.
- Contribute to the development of frontend architecture and best practices.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 6+ years of hands-on Java development.
- Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience designing and building scalable microservices and cloud-native applications on AWS.
- Experience with AI technologies, including LLMs, conversational AI, chatbots, voice AI, and integrations using MCP/A2A or similar AI frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Git, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases; familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Experience working in Agile environments with strong communication, problem-solving, and end-to-end ownership.
Nice to Have
- Experience building AI-powered user experiences and integrating LLMs into enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS, with the ability to collaborate on and contribute to frontend development.
- Knowledge of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and test automation.
- Experience with GraphQL, RAG, vector databases, or AI agent frameworks.
AWS certifications or experience in travel, mobility, or e-commerce domains.
Starting salary is $125,000. Offer commensurate with experience.
