Sr. Electrical & Controls Engineer | Full Time | $140,000–$160,000 | Industry: Building Materials

Overview

Develop and manage industrial electrical and control system projects across North American manufacturing facilities. Requires 40–60% travel to support implementations and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scope documents, designs, specifications, and cost estimates for manufacturing projects
  • Lead major or complex capital projects valued at $5M+
  • Manage projects in the $500K–$2M range
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis and corrective action plans
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing facilities
  • Develop and review electrical standards across the organization
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5 years of control systems engineering or discrete manufacturing experience
  • Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming proficiency
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70E Standard for Electrical Safety
  • Lead experience on major projects (responsibility exceeding $5M)
  • Demonstrated project management success ($500K–$2M range)
