About the RoleThe Sr. Director, HR Operations is a senior executive leader responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously optimizing the organization's enterprise-wide HR operations strategy. This role oversees the full spectrum of HR service delivery—including HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance—ensuring that operations are efficient, scalable, and aligned with broader business objectives. The Sr. Director drives large-scale HR transformation efforts, including shared services implementations, HR technology deployments, and global process standardization, while managing substantial operational budgets and vendor relationships across multiple geographies. Acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and the board, this leader translates HR operations performance into actionable insights and measurable business value, all while leading and developing subordinate managers and their teams through complex organizational change.
The Sr. Director, HR Operations leads the development and execution of enterprise-wide HR operations strategies that align with business objectives and optimize service delivery across all HR functions, driving large-scale transformation initiatives such as shared services implementations, HR technology deployments, and global process standardization while ensuring on-time, on-budget execution with minimal business disruption. This leader owns substantial operational budgets—applying strong financial acumen to analyze cost structures and identify efficiency and cost-reduction opportunities—and establishes and governs global HR operations, including vendor management, outsourcing strategies, and governance frameworks across multiple geographies. The role is also responsible for developing HR operational metrics, analytics, and executive reporting frameworks that deliver actionable insights to leadership, providing strategic direction to subordinate managers overseeing HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and compliance functions, and guiding cross-functional teams through complex organizational changes affecting HR service delivery, processes, and technology. Finally, the Sr. Director serves as a key strategic partner to C-suite executives, board members, and external partners on matters of HR operations and organizational effectiveness, ultimately building and executing a comprehensive HR operations strategy that drives efficiency, enhances employee experience, and delivers measurable business value.About You

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and complex, multi-faceted projects.
  • Extensive executive-level experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide HR operations strategies that align with business objectives and optimize service delivery across multiple HR functions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading large-scale HR transformation initiatives, including shared services implementations, HR technology deployments, and global process standardization.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR service delivery models, HR information systems, and emerging HR technologies, with proven ability to leverage technology to transform HR operations.
  • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated ability to manage substantial operational budgets, analyze cost structures, and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Experience establishing and managing global HR operations, including vendor management, outsourcing strategies, and governance frameworks across multiple geographies.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR operational metrics, analytics capabilities, and reporting frameworks that provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to provide direction through subordinate managers overseeing HR operational functions such as HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams through complex organizational changes impacting HR service delivery models, processes, and technologies.
  • Exceptional ability to build and execute comprehensive HR operations strategies that drive organizational efficiency, enhance employee experience, and deliver measurable business value.
  • Strategic relationship management experience interacting effectively with C-suite executives, board members, and external partners on matters related to HR operations and organizational effectiveness.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in HR, Organizational Development, or related field).
  • Experience in a global or multinational organization with exposure to diverse regulatory and cultural environments.


Compensation:

Pay Range:

$214,276.00 - $294,649.00

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
